Dress Rehearsals

Dress rehearsals for concerts are held at the Saturday Band rehearsal before the concert. The dress rehearsal before the concert will be held in the gym. Attendance at dress rehearsals is very important to the success of the concert. Reasonable excuses for missing a dress rehearsal are sickness or a family emergency. There should be no other reason to miss a dress rehearsal. Missing a dress rehearsal may result in a student being asked not to perform for the concert at the discretion of the director.

Concerts

Each year the bands of the ESBP perform in a Winter concert, at Family Music Fest, and at the ESBP Spring Concert. The jazz bands also perform in the Spring Jazz Concert in May. Students are asked to arrive forty-five minutes prior to the all concerts. Family Music Fest scheduling is different and information will be provided at rehearsal prior to the event.

Dress for Concerts

Please observe the following guidelines when it comes to dress for concerts:

Ladies: Black shoes

Black long length skirt or pants – No jeans or skirts above the knees

White blouse with long sleeves

Men: Black shoes and black socks

Black pants – No jeans

White dress or polo shirt with long sleeves

Students who do not follow the dress code will not be allowed to participate at the discretion of the directors. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
