GRADE SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT =
The grade school basketball tournament starts tonight, Friday, February
8, and runs through Sunday, February 10. Come and cheer on the future

KML EDUCATORS’ CONFERENCE =
There will be no school on Monday, February 11. This is the date of our
federation’s annual educators’ conference hosted by our high school. Our
elementary and high school teachers join together for Bible study,
professional growth, and fellowship. This year’s topic is Differentiated
Instruction. Our presenter is Jill Bartelt, who teaches third grade at
the Slinger public schools. We know that this will be a beneficial
conference for all who attend.

TURN-ABOUT DANCE =
The Valentines, Turn-About Dance will be held this coming Saturday,
February 16, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at KML. Cost is $7 per person
or $10 per couple. Our
student auction will be held at the dance that evening.
If you have any items you would like to donate for the auction,
contact Pastor Hughes.

OLIVER! TICKETS ON SALE =
KML’s Drama Department is busy preparing for their 2008 musical, Oliver!
The show runs March 6-9, at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, with a
dinner theater option for the Friday night performance. Tickets are
still available online at www.kmlhs.org
. Reservations for the Dinner Theater meal must be made by February 28.

DANCE TEAM STATE COMPETITION RESULTS =
Congratulations to the KML Dance Team for placing 6th out of 17 teams in
their division at state!
This is the best the Dance Team has placed at State since the divisions
were realigned making the competition much tougher!
Good job girls! Your parents, coaches and fans are very proud of
you all! A special thanks to Coach Krista and Coach Jenna for taking the
Dance Team to a new level!
= STATE CHEER COMPETITION =
The KMLHS varsity cheerleaders will be competing at the Wisconsin
Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches (WACPC) State Cheerleading Championship
this Saturday. The competition will be held at the Brown County Arena in
Green Bay. Admission is $5. The afternoon competition
session starts at 12:30 PM with awards at 2:45 PM. KML will perform
around 1:00 PM. Our 2008 WACPC All-State award recipient, Mary
Seidler and our 2008 WACPC All-State Honorable Mention recipients, Angie
Chiconas and Kayla Wisniewski will be recognized at the 12:00 PM award's

support will be appreciated as the team defends their state title.

= KMLHS GRADE SCHOOL CHEER & DANCE COMPETITION =
We would like to congratulate all teams that participated in our
competition on Saturday, February 2nd. Bethlehem received the Spirit
Award, David's Star and St. Lucas tied for first in the dance division,
St. John's Lannon placed first in the 5‑6th grade cheer division, Zion
placed first in the 7-8th grade cheer small team division, and Menomonee
Falls' 8th grade team placed first in the 7‑8th grade cheer large team
division. We would like to thank all competitors, family & friends
for making the competition a success. We would also like to
thank HEAT's All-Star Gym for loaning us their competition mats free of
charge! The date for the 2009 competition will be determined
