March 7, 2008
Welcome to the latest edition of KMaiL, a weekly
e-mail update from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.
-- NEWS AND INFORMATION --
= OLIVER! =
A very special Fine Arts opportunity is happening at KMLHS this
weekend, March 6-9, 2008.
Oliver! was performed for 1700 grade school children on Wednesday and
opened to the public on Thursday night and it is OUTSTANDING! There is a
professionally designed set that includes a rotating stage, custom
costume design, original choreography, a cast of singers from our
award-winning music program, a full pit orchestra... we just can't say
enough about how God has blessed this production.
Ticket sales are brisk, but there are still tickets available for
all performances of Oliver.
To be assured of a seat, order your tickets online at
www.kmlhs.org . Simply
go to the "OLIVER!" link in the upper left corner of the website.
At the rate of our sales, we are
looking at sell-out performances!!
= SACRED SPRING CONCERT =
The KML Fine Arts Department will present its annual Sacred
Spring Concert (formerly known as the Lent/Easter Concert) on Saturday,
March 15 at 7:00PM. The
evening will have a slightly different flavor this year and feature the
Symphonic Band, both choirs, as well as 120 students from our grade
schools will form a Junior Choir.
A free will offering will be gathered.
Please mark your calendars and join us for this wonderful evening
of music.
= PLANT SALE BEGINS =
Order quality baskets or plants for Mother’s Day gifts!
Order forms are available in the
rack outside the KML main office or online at
www.kmlhs.org/publications . Orders are due by Monday, April 21. If you would
be interested in helping sort plants on Thursday, May 8, from 8:00-12:00
or help to distribute the plants to the customers from 12:00-5:00,

= KML FAMILY MUSIC

Family Music Festival
is quickly approaching. This is an evening for family fun with food,
games, musical entertainment, silent and verbal auctions, and more.
Please join us for this event on Friday, April 4, from 5:00-9:00pm. New
for this year is a Friday night fish fry along with viewing the LES
Science Fair entries. All NHS members are required to work for
children’s games, coat check, or distribution of food. A sheet for pie
and basket donations and volunteer parent workers is available at
www.kmlhs.org/publications

= SPRINGTIME IN PARIS – 10TH ANNUAL KML AUCTION =

ever! Mark your calendars
for April 26 and check your mail for your "Passport to Paris!"
Check out the growing list of items being donated for both the
silent and live auction at
www.kmlhs.org/charity_auction .
Jonathan Green will be our guest auctioneer at our new location - the
Washington County Fair Park.
Deadline for donating items to the auction or placing an ad in the
auction booklet is March 15.
Parents - do you want to showcase your child's team or club with a
picture? Contact Sue
Neuberger at sneuberg@kmlhs.org for more details!
Auction Update: Attention Brett Favre fans! Have you checked the
KML web site to see the latest donations for the auction? In light of
this week's news, you will want to attend the auction to bid on a signed
football from Brett and also a signed framed jersey. These are now very
collectible items. Another new item is a 2007 Yamaha ATV with lots of
additions. Photos are posted on the web site. You can even plow snow
with this machine-that gives it an added bonus! Early bird registration
ends March 15 as well as the deadline for donating gifts and ads for the
auction booklet. If you, your family or place of employment wish to
donate, just drop the items in the KML office. Thank you for all of your
support and we’ll see you in "Springtime in Paris".
