SPANISH UPDATE =
Mrs. Fuller is
thankful for the many prayers and well wishes as she continues receiving
medical support and treatment for cancer. Please continue to ask God to
bless the efforts of the medical personnel, that Mrs. Fuller would enjoy
a full and fast recovery so that she can continue her full life of
service. Thank you for keeping Mrs. Fuller in your prayers! Because of
her medical treatments, she will not be able to begin the school year
teaching her Spanish classes. It is too early to say when she will be
able to return, but it likely will not be before the end of the 1st
quarter. The Lord has blessed us with a very capable substitute in the
person of Mrs. Micah Nelson. Mrs. Nelson has a double major from
Wisconsin
Lutheran
College
in Spanish and English, and she is pursuing her education degree. Mrs.
Nelson taught the majority of the 2005-2006 school year for Lakeside Lutheran
High School when they had
the need for a long term substitute in the area of Spanish; she did an
excellent job for them and comes highly rated. We thank the Lord for
leading us to Mrs. Nelson, and we pray that he would bless her efforts
as part of our school's ministry. Join us also in praying with
confidence that our Lord will lead us through the budget challenges that
this situation brings about. We know that all things are under our
gracious Lord's care.

welcoming our new freshmen class soon!

another as well as with their school.
At about 5:30 p.m., supper will be served to the freshmen.
At 6:30 the parents will join their freshmen children for the
rest of the orientation evening, including running through a shortened
schedule of the day to see the classrooms and meet the teachers.
We hope to finish up the evening by 9:15.
