Welcome to the latest edition of KMaiL, a weekly e-mail update from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.

-- NEWS AND INFORMATION --

= TASTE OF MINISTRY – TEACHER PROGRAM =

On Thursday and Friday, October 11-12, KML seniors will be visiting schools and classrooms throughout our federation. Teachers have graciously volunteered to host our students so that they may be a part of the ministry that goes on in the classroom from a perspective other than that of a student. It is our prayer that the Lord will lead some of these young Christians into the teaching ministry.

= STUDENT TEACHERS =

Beginning on Monday, October15, KML will have the privilege to host two student teachers from Martin Luther College.  Mr. Joel Fischer will work with Mr. Kuehl and Mr. Carlovsky in the math department and Mr. Walz in social studies.  Mr. Jonathan Laabs will work with Mr. Goede and Mr. Schlomer in the music department and Mr. Jahns in physical education.  We ask you to join us in praying that these young men will have a beneficial experience at KML and that the Lord of the church would use them to serve in His kingdom when they graduate from MLC.

The day ends at 11:30.

= FEDERATION TUITION FORUM =

Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School is hosting a Federation Tuition Forum on Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 9:00 – 10:30 am.  Discussion will focus on tuition statistics and trends of the Lutheran Elementary schools of the KML federation.  Pastors, principals, Board of Education and Church Council are encouraged to attend, but the forum is open to any interested member of our Federation.  Mr. Tom Hering, staff minister at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton will serve as the facilitator.

- What is happening with tuition at your LES?

- How is your church budget being affected?

- How does tuition impact your church family? community family?

Please let us know how many are coming so that we can plan for the number attending.  Reply to Karen Bartman, KML Administrative Assistant 262-677-4051 x1108 or kbartman@kmlhs.org .
