Welcome to the latest edition of KMaiL, a weekly
e-mail update from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.
-- NEWS AND INFORMATION --
= VETERANS’ DAY =
KML was honored to host a special
Veterans’ Day program on
Monday, November 12. Over
250 guests, including a large number of veterans were able to attend.
We thank God for the service of these veterans and all who serve
in the military on our behalf.
= FOOTBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP =
Congratulations to the KML Charger Football team for taking second place
in the WIAA Division 4 State Playoff game.
Thanks to over a thousand fans that showed up to watch the game
in person and cheer on our team.
We thank God for providing us with talents and abilities to get
to this level of competition.
= WREATH ORDERS =
Thank you to everyone
who placed orders for wreaths. Wreaths can be picked up today, Friday,
November 16, from 2:30 to 3:30 or tomorrow, Saturday, November 17, from
9:30-11:30. If you are unable to pick up your wreaths, please make
arrangements with someone else to pick them up for you.
= FUEL =
FUEL, a Bible study group that meets at KML once each month for an
evening of music, Scripture, prayer, and fellowship, meets again this
Sunday at 7:00 in the music room.
BRING YOUR BIBLES!!!.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
FUEL is open to grade school students and adults, KML teens or
teens from our neighboring public schools, members of our Federation or
simply members of our community.
= FOOTBALL WRAPUP =
Next week Monday,
November 19 and Tuesday, November 20 will be the two dates to turn in
football gear. Please turn
the gear in after school in the football drying room.
Monday, November 26 will
be the sign-up meeting for the 2008 football team right after school.
This meeting is for any freshmen, sophomore, or junior boys
interested in playing football next year.
The meeting will occur in room 1154 and will finish shortly after
3:00pm.
= THANKSGIVING BREAK =
There will be no school on
Thursday and Friday, November 22 & 23.
During this Thanksgiving Break, KML thanks you, the friends of
KML for all you do to support the ministry that we share with you.
= BOYS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE CHANGE =
Due to the extended
football season the boys' basketball games with Messmer scheduled for
Saturday, November 24, have been moved to Saturday, January 5.
= SPECIAL EVENT =
We would like to
invite all KMLHS students, parents, alumni, and grade school students to
our first home basketball game of the season on Tuesday, November 27, at
7:30pm. The Wisconsin
Lutheran College cheer team will help the cheerleaders, dance team and
pep band cheer on the boy’s varsity basketball team to a victory over
Waupun. They will also
perform an exciting routine after the dance team’s performance at
halftime. We would love to
see the stands packed full of KML fans.

CLASS OF 2008 SENIOR PICTURES =
One wallet sized head shot is needed for each student in the class of
2008. This picture will
appear in the 2008 yearbook as the student’s senior picture.
In order for these pictures to be placed in the yearbook, they
must be submitted to Miss Schaffer no later than December 1, 2007.

WANTED: HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS =
Soli Deo Gloria
Institute for the Arts is forming an auditioned honor band for any
WELS high school-age instrumentalists who are dedicated to making music
to God's glory. This year
the group will rehearse 4 times and then take a performance tour through
Chicago and Southeastern Wisconsin. Next
year the group will travel internationally to Australia or Eastern
Europe. Auditions for this
group will be Sunday, December 9, from 3:00-6:00pm.

= SPECIAL
PERFORMANCE - KMLHS CHARGERS' NIGHT WITH THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS =
The KMLHS Cheer and
Dance teams will be performing their popular combined routine prior to
tip-off at the Milwaukee Bucks verses the Orlando Magic game on
Wednesday, December 12th.
Tickets can be purchased from any dancer or cheerleader.
Upper level tickets are discounted from $29 to $20.
$4 from each ticket sold will go towards the cheer and dance
teams' athletic budgets. The
deadline for ticket orders is Friday, November 16th.
Come and support your spirit team as they perform at this
exciting venue! To God be
the Glory!
= EAST COAST TRIP REMINDER =
The second payment of
$150 for the East Coast Trip is due on Friday, December 14.
Checks should be made out to KML and turned in to Dorothy Martin
in the Student Services office.

PRINCESS FOR A DAY =
Are you looking for an extra hand this holiday season? Wouldn’t it be
great to have someone to watch your little ones while you do some
holiday shopping, wrap some presents, or just take some time to relax?
Let the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Dance team take care of your
daughter(s) for an afternoon! On Sunday, December 16, from 1:00-4:00pm
the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Dance Team will host “Princess For A Day”,
an activity that will allow your 4 year old through 3rd graders to have
a princess party- complete with snacks, dancing, mini-makeovers, and
crafts! The cost is only $12 per princess. Registration forms will be
made available at your local grade schools or you can contact Holly
Mason at 262-675-2048 or

your spot. We’ll play with your princess while you pamper yourself- take
advantage and register today!
= FRESHMAN REGISTRATION =
Registration for
incoming freshmen will be held on Monday, December 3 and Monday,
December 10, 6:30-8:00pm. We ask that all incoming freshmen register on
one or the other of these nights, if at all possible.
