CALL NEWS =
Pastor Hughes has
been led by the Lord to return the Call to Grace in South St. Paul,
Minnesota. We are thankful
that Pastor Hughes will be continuing his service to our high school.
May the Lord continue to bless him, his family, and his ministry
among us.
= CHOIR
COMPETITION =
The KML choir is one of the twelve finalists in the WMYX 99.1 FM Jane
and Kidd's Christmas Choir Competition.
WMYX is playing three choirs per day, and the public gets to vote
for their favorite! The winner gets $1,000 for their choral department.
KML is in bracket 2 on Friday, November 30.

between 7am and 11:59pm.
Let's help everyone realize what an awesome choral department God has
blessed us with!!!!
= FRESHMAN REGISTRATION =
KMLHS will hold registration for incoming freshmen on
Monday, December 3 and Monday, December 10 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
All incoming freshmen and their parents are encouraged to attend
one of these registration sessions.
Come to the cafeteria at any time during the registration hours.
= WINTER BAND CONCERT =
The entire Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School band program will
be performing on Saturday, December 8, at 7pm in the KML gymnasium.
With music ranging from Christmas, jazz, pop, and classical,
everyone is guaranteed to find a favorite tune.
This year's grand finale will be a piece featuring all 175
musicians playing at once followed by a reception for all in the KML
cafeteria.
= OLIVER!
TICKETS TO GO ON SALE =
This school year the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Drama
Department is presenting the musical "Oliver!" on March 6-9.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, December
8--just in time for Christmas.

BEHRINGER RECITAL =
KML alumnus Patrick Behringer will be giving his Junior recital on
December 8 at 7:30pm in the
UWM Music Recital Hall.
Everyone is invited to attend.
= SPECIAL
PERFORMANCE - KML CHARGERS' NIGHT WITH THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS =
The KML Cheer and
Dance teams will be performing their popular combined routine prior to
tip-off at the Milwaukee Bucks verses the Orlando Magic game on
Wednesday, December 12th.
Tickets can be purchased from any dancer or cheerleader.
Upper level tickets are discounted from $29 to $20.
$4 from each ticket sold will go towards the cheer and dance
teams' athletic budgets. The
deadline for ticket orders is Friday, November 16th.
Come and support your spirit team as they perform at this
exciting venue! To God be

= CHORAL PROGRAM PRESENTS CHRISTMAS CONCERT =
The Choral Program will present its annual Christmas Concert on
Saturday, December 15 at 7:00 PM.
The concert, entitled “Traditions and Carols,” features the 153
voices in the two choral ensembles, several selections with orchestra,
and many familiar Christmas melodies in a variety of settings.
No tickets are required.
A freewill offering will be gathered.
Mark your calendars and don’t miss what is certain to be a
memorable and festive evening.
= PRINCESS FOR A DAY =
Are you looking for an extra hand this holiday season? Wouldn’t
it be great to have someone to watch your little ones while you do some
holiday shopping, wrap some presents, or just take some time to relax?
Let the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Dance team take care of your
daughter(s) for an afternoon! On Sunday, December 16, from 1:00-4:00pm
the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Dance Team will host “Princess For A Day”,
an activity that will allow your 4 year old through 3rd graders to have
a princess party- complete with snacks, dancing, mini-makeovers, and
crafts! The cost is only $12 per princess. Registration forms will be
made available at your local grade schools or you can contact Holly

your spot. We’ll play with your princess while you pamper yourself- take

= KML’S CONCERT CHOIR FEATURED ON CHRISTMAS CD =
The Concert Choir was again a featured artist on the 2007 “A
Threshold to Christmas” CD.
The Threshold, a non-profit organization in West Bend, raises money each
year by releasing a CD featuring local artists.
This year marks Concert Choir’s third consecutive contribution to
this album. CD’s are $10 and
currently available through the school office.
The Choral Program receives $1 for each for CD sold.
Consider taking advantage of this great gift idea.

= WREATH SALE
THANK YOU =
Thank you to all who supported the Charger Club Wreath Sale with orders
or volunteering for pick-up and distribution of the product.
If you did not order wreaths this year, please keep this
fund-raiser in mind next fall.
There were some changes made to the product line this year that
increased the quality of the product.
= FALL SPORTS
RECAP =
Successful seasons were completed by the various fall sport teams at
KML. We commend our coaches
and athletes for using their gifts and representing their school and
their Savior so well during the season.
We
thank the cheerleaders for all of their hard work as they cheered for
the games and posted
encouraging spirit signs on the players’ lockers and throughout
the school.
The girls Cross Country Team was the Wisconsin Flyway Conference
Runner-Up for the season and the boys Cross Country Team did not have
enough runners to make a complete team. Mr. Kuehl received a coaching
award for 10 years of service.
Michelle Matter and Tabitha Thorson were named to the 1st Team
All Conference and Ashlyn Barbieri, Amanda Bublitz, Erin Hinch and
Morgan Steffens were named to the 2nd Team All Conference.
Morgan Weber was named to the All-Academic Cross Country Team and
Tabitha Thorson qualified to run at the state meet.
Varsity football had a 13-1 season record (7-0 conference).
They were the Wisconsin
Flyway Conference Champs, a
WIAA Playoff Qualifier and the WIAA Division IV State Runner-up.
Jordan Bergmann, Quinn Cohoon, Ryan Zaporski, and Kyle Zimmermann were
named to the 1st Team All Conference.
Vincent Greefkes, Adam Klumb, Joshua Schuster, Ryan Behm, and
Jacob Odell were named to the 2nd Team All Conference.
Samuel Matthies, Tyler Mittelstadt, Jordan Wagner, Joshua Bintz,
Taylor Koth, Greg Kriege, and Kyle Witte received Honorable Mention.
Jonah Gauger was named to the All-Academic Football Team.
The junior varsity team posted a 2-6 season record (0-5
conference) and the freshman went 2-5 for the season (2-4 conference)
The boys varsity soccer team had a 18-4-1 season record (11-1-1
conference). They were the
Wisconsin Flyway Conference Champions, WIAA Regional Champions and WIAA
Sectional Runners-up.
Alexander Page was named Wisconsin Flyway Conference Co-Player of the
Year and was an All State Nominee.
Nathan Moore, Alexander Page, and Dustin Page were named to the
1st Team All Conference.
Gregg Rathke and Alex Randazzo were named to the 2nd Team All
Conference. Nathan Gurgel,
and Andrew Passmore received Honorable Mention and Nathan Moore was
named to the All-Academic Boys Soccer Team.
The junior varsity team posted a 11-5-1 season record (7-0
conference)
The
varsity volleyball team had a 94-19 games ; 39-5
season record (7-0 conference).
They were the Wisconsin
Flyway Conference Champs and WIAA Division II State Champions.
Caitlyn Rusch was named Flyway
Conference Player of the Year.
Mary Groth, Andrea Henning, Cassandra Marx, and Caitlyn Rusch
were named to the 1st Team All Conference, Victoria Kroll was named to
the 2nd Team All Conference and Kristin Wetzel received Honorable
Mention. Erin Roembke was
named to the All-Academic Volleyball Team.
The junior varsity team posted a 19-6-3 season record (7-0
conference ; 51-16 games) and the freshmen had a 15-2-2 season
record(7-0 conference; 39-10 games).
= FAMILY MUSIC
FESTIVAL =
Mark your calendar for KML Family Music Festival. “Old Time Rock n’
Roll” is the theme for this year.
This is a day for family fun with food (Friday Night Fish Fry),
games, musical entertainment, silent and verbal auctions, and more.
Please join us on Friday, April 4, from 5-9pm. The Grade School
Science Fair will also be displayed at this event.
= BASKETBALL
SEASON PASSES/ DIRECTION BOOKLETS =
The Wisconsin Flyway Conference has set basketball game ticket prices
for the 07-08 school year at $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
KML also added a $1.00 charge for grade school students.
The following season pass options will be available for regular
home season games: Adult Athletic Pass - $50.00, H.S. Athletic Pass -
free with school ID, G.S. Athletic Pass - $20.00.
Season passes are good for regular season, home games and do not
include tournament games. A
directions booklet for our away games is available for $1.00.

Season passes and direction booklets are available in the KML
Athletic Office or at home games during the month of December.
= JOB POSTINGS

KML is currently seeking applicants for four positions: Fiscal Office
Manager - Accountant, Cafeteria/Foods Manager, and two custodial
positions:
Fiscal Office Manager- Accountant (position may be
filled in January of 2008)

Bachelors’ degree in accounting and at least three years of non-profit
accounting experience preferred.
-
Bookkeeping and fiscal reporting skills necessary.
-
Working knowledge of computer software such as Excel, Word, and Access.
-
Experience with accounting software, preferably FundWare.
-
Experience establishing and monitoring a system of internal controls;
supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge of banking and treasury management.
