Grandparents' Days at KML

KML invites the grandparents of its students to come for a visit. Select either Thursday, October 13, or Friday, October 14. Begin the day with coffee and sweet rolls followed by some special entertainment. Then join your grandchildren for chapel, and spend the rest of the day with them, visiting classes and eating lunch together. KML is honored to provide lunch for our grandparents.

KMLES Marching Band

KMLES Marching Band

On Monday, May 30, 2016, KML was represented in the community in a new and exciting way. The Kettle Moraine Lutheran Elementary School (KMLES) Band Program marched in its first parade ever at the West Bend Memorial Day Parade. The band program held a fundraiser in September of 2015 to raise funds to purchase the equipment necessary to perform in parades, including four snare drums, four bass drums, two pairs of cymbals, and a banner to lead the group. The students were excited to get out into the community and to thank and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy. Veterans, KML alumni, and other community members expressed their excitement for and their thanks in seeing KML represented in the community. The KMLES Band Program is looking forward to marching again at the end of this school year on Monday, May 29, 2017. Thank you to everyone who made this great opportunity come to fruition and came out to support our young musicians!

KML Adult Chorale

You are invited to join the KML Adult Chorale, a choir made up of members of the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Federation whose purpose is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and service to the KML Federation. The Chorale rehearses on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM in the KML choir room and sings in two regular concerts each year.

Help Your School Receive a $15,000 Gift

Rejoice for the abundant blessings that God has given! More than 350 recurring gifts have been designated to KML as part of our Builders program! For every Builder, KML receives $500 from a special donor. When we reach 450 Builders in 2016, KML will receive an additional $15,000!

To become a Builder, simply designate a monthly auto-withdrawal gift of $5 or more to capital, operating, or student assistance for at least one year.

Already a Builder? You can still qualify when you start a new auto-withdrawal gift to a different fund (capital, operating, or student assistance) from that to which you are currently giving.

A special FREE "thank you" golf outing at the West Bend Country Club has been planned for a day in May 2017 for those who sign up as a KML Builder by September 30, 2016.

To sign up as a Builder, go to and complete the online form or contact Mrs. Wendy Breimon (262-677-4051 x1118;

Scrip Office Hours:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
8:00 AM-3:00 PM

Be sure to check often to find out about special bonus offers that are available. The next big bonus day is Monday, September 19, for "Thank-Scriping" Day. Numerous retailers give an additional 1-8% bonus on top of their normal rebate. You'll need to check for the bonuses available that day only.

Now that school is back in full-swing and your college kids have moved back to campus, perhaps you want to mail them a little care package. What a great surprise for them when you send them a gift card to their favorite coffee shop (Caribou or Starbucks) or restaurant (Cousin's, Subway, Culver's, Dairy Queen, or Noodles) so they can take a break from the cafeteria food! These are just a few of the many great cards available on-hand in the Scrip office.

For any large or special order items, place your order by 3:00 PM Friday (or online by midnight Saturday) and have your cards the following Wednesday!
