Call News

Schoeneck
Mr. Schoeneck

Mr. Joshua Schoeneck has received a call to serve as the Director of Academic Computing and Online Learning at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.

Mr. Jonathan Laabs, husband of KML teacher Mrs. Erin Laabs, has received a call from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, to serve as a professor of music.

Mr. Joseph Greefkes, currently teaching at St. Paul Lutheran School in South Haven, MI, has accepted the call to be KML's Activities Director, filling the vacancy which will be left by Mr. Len Collyard upon his retirement at the end of the school year.

Please keep Mr. Schoeneck and Mr. Laabs in your prayers as they deliberate where the Lord would have them use their talents to serve him, and join us in praising God that he has led Mr. Greefkes to join the KML faculty next year.

KML Registers the Class of 2021

Registration for the KML freshman class of 2017-2018 took place on December 5 and 12 during which a total of 119 students registered. We look forward to welcoming the class of 2021 next fall!

If you or someone you know is interested in attending KML in the 2017-2018 school year, please contact KML's Director of Admissions, Mr. Jerry Zeamer (262-677-4051 x1124; jerry.zeamer@kmlhs.org), for more information or to register.

Planting Seeds of Faith

Have you ever considered hosting an international student? We are actively looking for KML families to host international students during the 2017-2018 school year. Host families fill an important role in our international outreach. Our international program relies heavily on the number of host families that we have available. We cannot offer this opportunity without having host homes. Students have their own funds available for expenses, and host families are offered a monthly stipend to offset expenses to provide room and board.

There is a mutual benefit to having these connections which also spreads seeds of faith and Christ's love across the globe. It is a unique and life-giving experience to create these relationships.

Please keep our international program in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to grow and, more importantly, as we share God's Word with these students.

If you would like to learn more about our international program at KML or are interested in becoming a host family, please contact Mrs. Dawn Farley (262-677-4051 x1126; dawn.farley@kmlhs.org).

LAST MONTH to Have Your Gift Multiplied as a Builder!

HELP US MEET THE BUILDER CHALLENGE
BY DECEMBER 31, 2016!

We are humbled and grateful for the prayers and faithful support of our KML family. Thank you for bringing us so close to our year-end goal of 450 Builders.

  Builders

With just a few days left in 2016, your gift can have an impact for generations. Whether you give $5 or $500 per month, God is multiplying your gift and blessing KML through your support. This will be the LAST MONTH that your Builder gift will be multiplied. Join us as a Builder now to multiply the gifts with which you have been blessed, and help KML receive the final $15,000 incentive gift!

CHALLENGE:

  • Reach 450 Builders by December 31, 2016

STATUS:

  • 437 Builders as of November 30, 2016 - THANK YOU!
  • 13 Builders needed by December 31, 2016

What does this mean for KML? With each new Builder, an anonymous friend of KML will give a $500 incentive gift to KML.

Already a Builder? You can still qualify when you start a new auto-withdrawal gift to a different fund (capital, operating, or student assistance) from that to which you are currently giving.

When we reach 450 Builders by December 13, KML will receive an additional $15,000!

437 Builders

You are a member of the Builders program when you have an auto-withdrawal set up with KML for at least 12 months. Your gifts can be directed to capital, operating, or student assistance.

To sign up as a Builder, go to www.kmlhs.org/autogift and complete the online form, or contact Mrs. Wendy Breimon (262-677-4051 x1118; wendy.breimon@kmlhs.org).

This is the LAST MONTH a special donor will give a $500 incentive gift to KML for every person who becomes a Builder!

PLUS, when we reach 450 Builders by December 31, KML will receive an additional $15,00 gift!

WITH YOUR HELP,
WE CAN MEET THIS CHALLENGE!

Check out ShopWithScrip.com often to see the bonus offers that are currently running. There are many great opportunities now through the end of the year.

As we approach this busy time of year, we wanted to share a few reminders regarding your SCRIP purchases:

The last day to order SCRIP and guarantee delivery before Christmas is Friday, December 16. In an effort to have enough cards available for all our families, we ask that you place special orders for any individual retailer from whom you are purchasing more than 5 cards. Please keep this in mind as you plan for stocking stuffers, employee gifts, and teacher gifts. Considering the long break, now is a great time to stock up on cards you will need (groceries, gas, and restaurants) during that time as well.

Orders placed over the Christmas break for on-hand inventory will be filled Wednesday, January 4. Because our vendor is also closed over the Christmas/New Year break, special order items will not be available for pick-up until Friday, January 6. ScripNow or ReloadNow orders that are paid for using PrestoPay will be available immediately over the Christmas break.

From all of us in the KML SCRIP Office, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
