Fund-raising Events
Charity Auction - spring:
The Charity Auction is a major fund
raising event sponsored by the KML Friends / Founders Organization for
Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.
In 2004 the event was moved to a larger facility at the Chandelier
Ballroom in Hartford. Enjoy
the warmth of fellowship and fun. The
evening begins with a silent auction during
the social hour.
After dinner the fun begins with a live auction.
Last year’s
auction raised $48,024, which was
used for the tuition assistance fund, to
advance our high school website development, and to purchase new
computers
in our computer labs.

Kettle Open Golf - July:
This
golf outing is a fun event held on the third Monday of July.
Join the fun at Scenic View Country Club for
18 holes of golf,
lunch, and a steak dinner. Door
prizes and great fellowship make this event a fun day.
Proceeds are used to support the KML Golf Team and athletic budget.

Charity Golf Outing - September:
This golf outing is held in September at West Bend Country Club and is
clearly a charity fundraiser for KML.
If you would enjoy golfing on one of Wisconsin’s premier golf
courses with lunch, dinner, and great fellowship opportunities and are
interested in supporting KML, then this is the event for you. The outing features scramble format with a shotgun start,
prizes on every hole, special events, plus silent and voice auctions.

Charger Club sponsors the following fundraisers.
All parents at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School are
automatically members of this group.
Monies raised from all of these fund raisers go into the general
budget and are used for programs and activities that benefit our students.

Plant Sale – March and April:
This fundraiser begins in March with orders due the end of April.
Distribution of plants takes place the
second Thursday in May.
Quality flowers and vegetables as well as hanging baskets are
available. Avoid spending the
time picking out your plants and have your order ready and waiting in the
storage building to
the west of the school.
Last year KML benefited with a profit of $2,200.

Magazine Sale -
September:
This fundraiser begins the Wednesday prior to Labor Day. All of the students are given the fund raising materials
during their religion classes of that week and have two weeks to contact
friends and family for subscriptions that need to be renewed or would like
to order a new magazine. Students
participating in
this event are eligible for monetary prizes, hot lunch
coupons, as well as other prizes donated by friends
of KML. Last year KML realized a profit of $5,000.
Wreath Sale –
October and November:
This fundraiser begins in October and wreaths are available for
pick up in November. Quality
balsam
wreaths from 20” to 60” as well as garland and candy cane
wreaths are available. Order
forms are
available through the federation churches as well as the high
school. Last year KML had a profit of $1,300.

Echo Fest - February:
Echo
Fest is a Sunday afternoon in February and is an opportunity for students
from Kettle Moraine
Lutheran High School, our federation schools, and the
Grade School Band Program to perform in public,
as well as be an
entertaining afternoon for friends and family of KML.
There is a charge for adults to
attend this event.
Games, food including homemade pies, face painting, vocal pie
auction, silent basket auction, a children’s magician as well as the
musical entertainment is provided. Echo
Fest is the largest fundraiser for the Charger Club bringing in a profit
of more than $10,000.
Photo Buttons:
Photo
Buttons are available to sports athletes as well as musical participants.
Pictures are taken during
individual seasons and parents are able
to wear the buttons and support their child(ren).
Generally a profit
of $1,000 is made.
Friends
of KML are also able to support the Charger Club as you travel and shop
during the year at the following businesses (sign up today):

Kwik Trip Rewards Program ……………… $100 raised in 2002-03
Ads for athletic events:
If you are interested in advertising your business and supporting
the athletic program at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, here is a way
to help both you and us. You
are able to have an ad included in the athletic programs during the year
(space is limited), sponsor a game, donate items to be handed out at
various sporting events, or include your business for the Thrivent 3 on 3
basketball tournament. All
past advertisers are contacted with the information.
If you are interested in being a part of the action, please contact
the KML athletic office. Monies
raised go directly to support quality athletics for the school.
