Trigonometry 1/2 credit 1 semester

This course is intended for students who have completed or are currently enrolled in Advanced Algebra to intensely study the mathematics of Trigonometry. Reviewing and stretching beyond basic right triangle trigonometry, this course will cover topics such as radian and degree measure, the trigonometric functions, their inverses, and their graphs, the unit circle, polar coordinates and graphs, memorizing and proving trigonometric identities, the Law of Sines and Cosines, polar graphs, vectors, and De Moivre’s Theorem.
Prerequisites: Advanced Algebra & approval of Advanced Algebra instructor
Note: May be taken con-currently with Advanced Algebra with approval of Geometry instructor
