Questions from the February Meeting

1)  Will we be getting a final statement that alerts you when you are paid in full?
Strangely so, they don't send notice of paid in full.  The suggestion they (passports) had was to view your account on-line.  I am suggesting they change that.

2)  Can we use "gift card" type credit cards in Europe?
Passports didn't have an answer for this one since it would depend on the company that issued the card.  It would be best to contact them directly with this question.

3)  Which credit card company is most recognized by the German/ European ATMs?
Visa and Master Card are the two big names.  Again, contacting the issuer of your card is a good idea!  Finding out from them if the card will work is the best idea.  Whatever you decide to do, be sure to contact your credit card company to let them know that you will be traveling out of the country.

4)  Visa-bucks?
Look into Visa to see what they offer for people who don't own a debit card/ credit card.  They offer travel cards and visa bucks type cards that are protected if lost or stolen and can be "re-charged".  Check into this, but note any costs for ordering such cards.  My experience is that you pay to get the card where you may be able to get a "Free" debit card through your bank.
