Make sure you listen to Posy IV.  Brass, notice that we need to center our pitches immediately upon attack.  There is quite a bit of sliding into notes or hitting wrong pitches all together.  Woodwinds should notice that technique and articulations are not always as clear as they need to be.

All should make sure to work for the ability to play expressively with a metronome at a slow tempo this weekend.  We need to get past technique SOON in order to make a solid recording.

Movement IV- 4/26 rehearsal

In Japanese, notice some of our attacks at the Schauer are disjointed.  At the beginning our "music box" needs to play as one instrument.  Although the recording limits our loud sections, you can still hear that we are struggling with intonation when we play big.  Also, some of our phrasing sounds perhaps smaller than we think in our minds?
