News from the UW system

Juniors, please consider the following information if you are considering applying to a UW campus next year.  The UW system schools will be using a new, redesigned application for admission.  You will have access to these applications as of September 1.  All UW system schools will begin processing applications on September 15.  Also please note that the application fee will increase to $44.00, effective September 1, 2008.

UW Waukesha continues to accept applications for the fall of 2008.  Freshman applicants can expect to receive an admission decision 1-2 weeks after their admission file is complete.

UW Eau Claire has closed its freshman admission since February.

UW Green Bay will close admissions for incoming freshmen on Tuesday, April 15.

UW La Crosse has closed admission for new freshmen for fall of 2008.

UW Madison closed its freshman admission as of February 1.

UW Oshkosh continues to accept and process applications for fall 2008 for freshmen.  Note that residence hall living is guaranteed for all students at UW Oshkosh.

UW Parkside is still accepting applications for new freshmen.  Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure on-campus housing and be informed of any financial aid award.

UW Platteville continues to accept applications for new freshmen for the fall of 2008.

UW Stevens Point is still accepting applications from new freshmen for fall 2008

UW Stout still has room for new freshmen for the fall of 2008 except in the Art-Graphic Design and Art-Interior Design program.

UW Whitewater will close admissions for freshmen as of May 1.  (Posted 4.3.08)
