Kettle Klomp 5K Race/2 Mile Walk

On the morning of Saturday August 10th the 2nd Annual Kettle Klomp 5K race and 2 mile walk will be held. The race and walk will take place at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School (KML) on the cross country course. The course winds through the paths of KML's beautiful outdoor environmental classroom.
Area runners and walkers of all ages, KML alumni, parents, and students; as well as area high school and grade school cross country runners are invited to participate.
Come out and try something different than the typical 5K road race or 2 Mile road walk! This fast 5K cross country course is used for high school and grade school cross country meets.
Preregistration is $15 for adults and $10 for children (an extra $5 is added per person for registering the day of the race/walk). Everyone registered will receive a KML Kettle Klomp t-shirt.
Runners may run individually as well as form 4 person teams (5K run event only) and compete as a team. Individual awards are given for various age groups and team awards for the fastest teams (team members are also eligible for individual awards).
The 2 Mile walk starts at 8am and the 5K race starts at 8:30am. Packet pickup and race day registration will open at 7am. Early packet pickup and additional on-site preregistration is from 4pm-7pm on Friday August 9th in the school's cafeteria.
The race/walk will be capped at 300 participants in order to ensure an enjoyable race for all.
