Freshmen Student/Parent Orientation & New Athlete Meeting

On Monday, August 22, our incoming freshmen will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the KML cafeteria for their orientation (supper will be served to the students). Parents and their children will meet up with each other between 6:00 and 6:30, and then at 6:30 they will attend together the rest of the orientation evening, including running through a shortened schedule of the day to see the classrooms and meet the teachers. Note: Part of this orientation taking place at 6:30 is the New Athlete Meeting, which is required by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association for those wishing to participate in interscholastic sports; this would include freshmen and transfer students, and their parents.


Sophomore through Senior Student/Parent Orientation

Our orientation evening for our returning and transfer students (grades 10-12) and their parents takes place on Tuesday evening, August 23, beginning at 6:30. After a few short group presentations, parents of each class will have the opportunity to meet with the various teachers who serve as overall advisors for class-specific items and activities. Lastly, parents and students will run through a shortened schedule of the school day to meet with teachers, receive materials, etc. We plan to end around 8:45. Note: Students transferring to KML who wish to participate in interscholastic athletics will need to attend the New Athlete Meeting Monday evening, August 22, which takes place during the freshman/parent orientation. Transfer students and their parents should be in the KML cafeteria by 6:40 on August 22. They may leave when the New Athlete Meeting is over (about 7:20).
