All are welcome to join the KML students as we recognize and honor our country's military. We extend a special invitation to veterans, current military personnel, reservists, and their families. Each year our program centers on God's Word, and in this year's program, we will also focus on the flag folding ceremony. Join us on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Meet in the school cafeteria after 9am. The program begins at 9:20am. Guest speaker, Pastor Michael Helwig from Crown of Life, Hubertus will lead the program which will last 40-50 minutes. Quote from someone in attendance... "This is the first year we attended the Veterans Day program and all the good things we have heard about the program are certainly true. It was emotional, it was community, it was a message of appreciation for the time these men and women have spent in the military, as well as their families who supported them, and the word 'sacrifice' certainly needs to include the sacrifice of God's own son, Jesus. Thank you for honoring the Veterans, but even more so for keeping your student body in touch with the ongoing sacrifice of those who serve and have served.
