Welcome to the latest edition of KMaiL, a weekly e-mail update from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.

-- NEWS AND INFORMATION --

= CALL NEWS =
On March 17, Mrs. Micah Nelson was extended a one year Call to serve in the areas of Spanish and English for the 2008-2009 school year.  You might remember that Mrs. Nelson served with us in the area of Spanish during the first quarter in Mrs. Fuller’s absence, and she did a tremendous job.  We still will have an “overflow” of Spanish sections next year.  Mrs. Sarah Schmandt is currently serving in a one year Call in two sections of Spanish, but she will not be in a position to serve again next year due to the birth of their second child.  (Congratulations, Schmandt family!).  Please keep Mrs. Nelson in your prayers as she deliberates this Call to serve.
A call meeting will be held on Monday, March 24, to fill the choral and band positions that will be left vacant by Mr. Matthew Schlomer and Mr. Michael Goede as they go on to pursue advanced degrees.

= EASTER BREAK =
There will be no school during KML’s Easter Break which begins on Good Friday, March 21.  Classes will resume on Monday, March 31.  Have a blessed Easter!

= TUITION ASSISTANCE =
Tuition Assistance Reminder - Please note that applications for Tuition Assistance for the 2008 – 2009 school year need to be submitted to the fiscal office no later than April 30th.  You may call the fiscal office, have a packet sent home with your child, or email your request to fiscal@kmlhs.org.

= MINISTRY NIGHT AT KML =
On April 2, 2008, KML will host a Ministry Night.  Students in grades 7-12 and their parents are invited to come and learn about pastoral, teaching, and staff ministry, as well as preparation for such service to our Lord.  The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a light supper for those attending.  Recruiters from Martin Luther College and KML alumni who are students at MLC and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary will conduct the presentations that follow the meal.  There will also be an opportunity for questions.  We plan for it to be an early evening.  We encourage anyone who has ever considered serving in the full time ministry to attend this special evening.  Please RSVP, indicating the student name, grade, and number of people attending to Pastor Mehlberg at rmehlber@kmlhs.org or 262-677-4051 x1180.   We ask that you respond by March 19, but if you miss that date, please contact Pastor Mehlberg to indicate your desire to attend.

KML Dance is wonderful program for Christian young women to participate in game time performances, competitions, and community service events.
