Performing Arts Center becoming a reality!
The construction of a 750-seat Performing Arts Center on campus is the final step in the four-phase facility plan that began in 2001. Our previous school expansion projects provided wonderful improvements for our academic, athletic and administrative areas. This addition will provide much-needed facilities for our arts program including our choirs, bands, and theatrical productions. The design of the building also includes a large cross that will be visible to those who drive past our school. This cross will help convey the fact that we are a Christian school and that Christ is the center of all we do.

Some of the benefits for Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School:
- New academic wing includes: a band room, choir room, ensemble room, staff offices, and a number of practice rooms to serve the 50% of the KML student body who are directly involved in school music groups.
- Dedicated space for daily chapel.
- Facility for drama and music performances without disrupting other classes and activities in gymnasium.
- Larger classroom for our growing art classes.
Benefits for the students of our sixteen elementary feeder schools:
- This facility will allow our elementary schools to develop their own fine arts programs, thereby creating an appreciation of the arts at an earlier age.
- Schools will be able to hold their musicals in a real performance center.
- The KMLHS elementary band program will be able to utilize the facility to enhance their performance and practice experiences.
Benefits for the community:
- This facility fills a need for performance venues in Washington County to serve its 131,887 residents (2010 census).
- It is the vision of KMLHS to promote the arts in the communities we serve. Letters of interest have already been received from renowned fine arts groups who are considering using our new facility to bring the arts to the area.
- The larger venue allows us to invite more guests to our special events, including concerts and drama productions.
- The facility can also serve as a local resource for community – for conferences, meetings, seminars, guest speakers, concerts, or local theater productions.
