The KML Foundation hosted the annual Clay Shoot & Wine Event at the Mayville Gun Club on Saturday, September 17, 2022. This was a new venue for the event, and it was a beautiful setting. We had more sponsors and great participation for the silent auction and raffles. The result was a fun event which raised more than $12,000 for the Foundation’s Sportsman Fund. The Sportsman Fund supports KML student assistance and is a growing contributor each year as the fund grows.

The Sportsman Fund is just one of many funds the KML Foundation manages. Overall, the Foundation receives funding through events like the Clay Shoot & Wine Event and the Golf Outing, but the largest source of funding is through estate gifts. If you have an interest in learning more about designating gifts to KML or the KML Foundation through an estate gift, contact Mr. Paul Snamiska (paul.snamiska@kmlhs.org). If you have already made that decision, please contact Paul so you can be added to our KML Heritage Society.
