Let’s Grow Together

A Let’s Grow Together special event was held on Thursday, September 29. A second event will be held on Wednesday, October 5. Thank you to all who have responded that you will be joining us. These events are a great reminder of God’s blessings on KML as we celebrate our growth in enrollment as well as our need to expand our facility. One exciting note is that we have already received more than $2 million in gifts and pledges which have been given toward our goal of $10 million!

We are excited to announce a recent challenge for our Let’s Grow Together campaign. A challenge gift of $280,000 has been committed with the goal of receiving Let’s Grow Together gifts from 1400 donors. This generous friend of KML will give a $200 incentive gift to KML for every donor up to 1400 donors who give their gift to the Let’s Grow Together campaign. Also, when 150 of those 1400 donors are KML alumni, our generous donor will give an additional $20,000 for a total of $300,000! We ask you to help us meet this challenge by being one of the 1400 donors.

If you’re unable to join us October 5, feel free to contact either President Jamie Luehring (jamie.luehring@kmlhs.org) or Wendy Breimon (wendy.breimon@kmlhs.org) for more information.

The time is now. Let’s Grow Together!

Thank You!

The KML Foundation hosted the annual Clay Shoot & Wine Event at the Mayville Gun Club on Saturday, September 17. This beautiful setting was a new venue for the event. We had more sponsors and great participation for the silent auction and raffles resulting in a fun event which raised more than $12,000 for the Foundation’s Sportsman Fund. The Sportsman Fund supports KML student assistance and is a growing contributor each year as the fund grows.

The Sportsman Fund is just one of many funds the KML Foundation manages. Overall, the Foundation receives funding through events like the Clay Shoot & Wine Event and the Golf Outing, but the largest source of funding is through estate gifts. If you have an interest in learning more about designating gifts to KML or the KML Foundation through an estate gift, contact Mr. Paul Snamiska (paul.snamiska@kmlhs.org). If you have already made that decision, please contact Paul so you can be added to our KML Heritage Society.

Thanks again to all who sponsored or participated in the Foundation’s events this year. Your involvement makes a real impact for countless KML students.
