Let’s Grow Together

To God be all the glory! We have received more than $2.5 million in gifts and pledges toward our goal of $10 million. Every day we are sharing the blessings of a growing enrollment as well as our need to expand our building. For our many new donors and our faithful donors, we thank you! It is our prayer that our entire KML family will pray, support, and share the mission of our Let’s Grow Together campaign.

$2.5M as of October 26, 2022

THANK YOU!

Goal: $10M by June 30, 2024

Did you know that when you increase your monthly giving and designate your gift to the Let’s Grow Together campaign, your gift counts toward our challenge? And, if you’re one of our KML alumni, it counts toward both challenges!

  • A challenge gift of $280,000 has been committed with the goal of receiving Let’s Grow Together gifts from 1400 donors. This generous friend of KML will give a $200 incentive gift to KML for every donor up to 1400 donors who give their gift to the Let’s Grow Together campaign.
  • When 150 of those 1400 donors are KML alumni, our generous donor will give an additional $20,000 for a total of $300,000!

We ask you to help us meet this challenge by being one of the 1400 donors. For more information visit kmlhs.org/grow or contact either President Jamie Luehring (jamie.luehring@kmlhs.org) or Director of Mission Advancement Wendy Breimon (wendy.breimon@kmlhs.org).

The time is now. Let’s Grow Together!

Call News

Mr. Mark Nolte has received a call to teach grades 5 & 6 at St. John’s Lutheran School in Baraboo, WI. Mr. Nolte currently teaches math at KML.

Pastor Ben Reichel, KML Word of God 12 and Latin instructor, has received two different calls. The first is to serve as the pastor at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hudson, WI, and the second is to serve as the pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD.

Please keep Mr. Nolte and Pastor Reichel in your prayers as they deliberate where to best serve the Lord.

12 Days of Christmas Coffee Fundraiser

KML is once again partnering with Coffeeville Company to raise money for KML’s 12 Days of Christmas fundraiser to support families in need. The names and information about the families we are raising money for in 2022 will be shared soon.

For each $14 bag of premium 12 oz. coffee or $13 box of 12 K-Cups sold, Coffeeville is donating $3 back to the 12 Days of Christmas. Bags are sold with whole OR ground coffee beans and make great gifts for the coffee-lovers on your Christmas list!

Prizes will be awarded to KML students with the top number of sales. You may choose a KML student to receive credit for your order, if you wish, by naming them on the order form.

Place your order online today at kmlhs.org/12days.

Orders will be available for pick up in the KML PAC Lobby
on December 9 & 16 from 2:45 – 4:00 PM.

Order by December 1, 2022, to pick up December 9.

Order by December 8, 2022, to pick up December 16.

(Orders placed by December 1 may also be picked up on December 16.)

Late orders cannot be honored.

If you are unable to pick up your order at these times and do not choose a KML student to deliver it to you (option on order form), please contact Mrs. Chelsie Brandl (chelsie.brandl@kmlhs.org) after placing your order.

If you do not wish to purchase coffee but would still like to donate to support our 12 Days families, a link to donate will be open at kmlhs.org/12days after this year’s families are announced.

Honor or Remember Loved Ones With a Gift From the Heart

A gift to KML is a special way to show you care and is a reflection of your love for Jesus. Both you and your loved one or their family will have the satisfaction of contributing to a growing ministry when you give in someone’s honor or memory.

Remember …

  • Birthdays
  • Anniversaries
  • Holidays

Say …

  • I’m sorry for your loss.
  • I’m thinking of you.
  • Thank you!

Print the KML Memorial / Honorarium form which contains two parts:

  1. A section to fill out and send to your loved one or their family notifying them of the gift made to KML
  2. A section to complete and mail to KML with your gift

OR …

Give online at kmlhs.org/donate. In the “Optional” section, choose whether your gift is a memorial or honorarium, and type the name of the person your are honoring in the text box.
