Thankful For …

As many look anxiously to the end of 2020, the KML family can still count all we have to be thankful for. It may even be easier in this unique year than in other years to see the blessings God has provided for us and for our beloved KML. Being thankful for our blessings and thankful to the One who blesses sets us apart from others.

We are thankful that God preserves us in sickness and health. We are deep into our second academic quarter of face-to-face instruction. A few in our KML family have tested positive for COVID-19, and others have been under quarantine from exposure. We are thankful for every moment our Christian teachers can connect with our students. God has still preserved us and strengthened us at home and in school. KML and its families are committed to growing deep roots in Christ.

We are thankful for our students in our traditional and virtual classrooms. We are thankful for our teachers who faithfully educate, encourage, and equip those students every day. We are thankful for our KML families who prioritize raising their children in the Word. As we transition from our fall to winter activities, we are thankful for each experience that builds memories.

KML strives to provide a “Christ-guided success path for all” in a world deeply divided over many issues. We are thankful for a united sense of purpose and the grace of God that spurs us on.

We are thankful FOR many things … but most of all, we are thankful TO our God who loves us. Let us live a life of thankfulness!

Happy Thanksgiving,

David W. Bartelt, Superintendent

Save the Date!

Giving back isn’t cancelled!

At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity brings people together. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value everyone can act on. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eight years, this idea has grown into an annual global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

On December 1, GivingTuesday, we pray you will join us along with some generous people who are so excited to support KML that they want to challenge you with a challenge grant. This means your gift will go twice as far to help us build a strong foundation in our students.

Mark your calendars, spread the word, and stay tuned for more details!
