![]() November 15, 2021 Thanksgiving With Reverence and Awe Dear KML Family, Can we even fathom what thanksgiving must look like in heaven? No sin to distract us. No challenges that seem insurmountable, and our gracious, loving God visibly by our side each day. That perfection will allow us the opportunity to focus on giving God the praise and awe that he deserves! So, what about here? As I look around the world over the last couple of years, there is so much to wonder about as we navigate through the pandemic, increasing polarization among people, on top of the normal sin driven issues that have always been a part of this world. The word shaky comes to mind as we analyze the challenges which surround us. Yet God reminds us in Hebrews 12:28, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” (NIV) During this time of Thanksgiving in our nation, we must first look at the spiritual blessings granted by our immovable and unbelievable God. His plans will always prosper, and we can be thankful as we look forward to meeting him face to face in heaven. But let us never forget the many blessings that we all enjoy here on earth. From a KML perspective, I see it every single day – driven students, caring faculty, humble staff, sacrificing supporters, and a KML family network that goes way beyond our walls. Join me in saying a little prayer of thanks for God’s blessings through this high school. May it continue to have a profound impact on hearts and souls for Christ as we lead as servants in our community. God Bless, President Luehring

On November 30, GivingTuesday, we pray you will join us along with some generous people who are so excited to support KML that they want to challenge you with a challenge grant. This means your gift will go twice as far to help us build a strong foundation in our students. Mark your calendars, spread the word, and stay tuned for more details!
