12 Days of Christmas at KML

Over twelve days in December, KML’s Student Council and National Honor Society work to collect money through student involvement to support families in need. Parents, federation members, alumni, friends, and the community are encouraged to donate as well.

This December we are raising money to help the Gerlach, Hovorka, Lindenberg, and Praefke families. For more information about these families or the 12 Days of Christmas at KML or to donate to support them, visit kmlhs.org/12days. Last day to donate: December 31, 2023.

Call News

Mr. Matt Moeller has declined the call he received to serve as the principal at Great Plains Lutheran High School in Watertown, SD, and will continue at KML.

Mr. Jim Ott has received a call to teach high level math and science for grades 9-12 at Divine Savior Academy – Sienna in Missouri City, TX. His wife, Susie, also received a call to teach 3rd grade at Divine Savior. Mr. Ott currently teaches math at KML.

The KML General Board has issued a call to Pastor Phillip Sievert to serve at KML teaching Word of God 11 & 12 and coach. Pastor Sievert currently serves as the pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Yorba Linda, CA.

Please keep Mr. Ott and Pastor Sievert in your prayers as they deliberate where to best use their gifts to serve the Lord, also praying for our sister high school, Great Plains, as they seek to fill their open principal position.

Let’s Grow Together Update

Our future plans are bold, exciting, and meaningful. With God’s blessing, we boldly move forward with our expansion plans to continue to reach more souls for the gospel and serve them with excellence in all areas of our KML ministry. We are praying God continues to move the hearts of those who can support this Let’s Grow Together campaign as we head into the end of the calendar year.

Your gift or pledge today means we can share the gospel with even more students in the coming years. Through your prayers and financial gifts, you also boldly proclaim the humble message of the birth of our Savior.

Merry Christmas and thank you for joining together as part of the KML family.

Please see tinyurl.com/kmlcostarica24 for more information, and contact Mrs. Micah Nelson (micah.nelson@kmlhs.org) ASAP if interested in hosting or with any questions. Gracias!
