New Friends Fun

Though 2020 was a force to be reckoned with, KML’s New Friends group, was able to stay safe and have fun. In fall they took a trip to Cedar Creek Pumpkin Farm. Picking pumpkins, hay wagon rides, and more proved to be a heartfelt experience. Next, New Friends experienced a blast from the past when friends showed off their mad singing skills and made good vibrations come alive with some far out tie dye. December was filled to the brim with holiday cheer! From cookies to ornaments, all were able to show off their creative spirit while remembering the reason for the season. January meant some competitive fun in the sun with sledding, snowmen making, and a scavenger hunt!

Financial Update

February 1, 2021, marks a major debt service payment of $363,000 in principal, interest, and letter of credit fees toward our $6 million capital debt. We are grateful for every donor who is supporting our efforts to provide great facilities to a growing ministry! This money has been given through our appeals and personal connections with those who cherish Christian education at KML. We thank God for your support!

Our 27 churches of the KML Federation have supported KML’s operating budget with $363,000 in the first six months of the 20-21 fiscal year. This is $16,000 more than in the first six months of 19-20. We are thankful for the opportunity to educate, encourage, and equip over 500 teenagers of our churches and communities. May God continue to bless our work together!
