Call News

Mr. Mark Nolte has received a call to serve as the 6th grade homeroom teacher and to teach 4-8th grade math at Good Shepherd Lutheran Academy in Deltona, FL. Mr. Nolte currently teaches math classes and coaches soccer at KML.

At the KML General Board meeting on Monday, February 14, the board issued the following calls to fill the upcoming vacancies left by Pastor Malchow, Mrs. Bruckschen, and Mrs. Chojnacki:

  • Pastor Caleb Kurbis has been called to teach Word of God 11 and coach soccer. Pastor Kurbis currently serves at Living Savior Lutheran Church in Asheville, NC.
  • Mr. Joshua Lepke was called to teach science and math and coach. Mr. Lepke is currently teaching at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Muskego, WI.
  • Mrs. Kris Ruth received the call to teach English and serve as the Jr. Charger Coordinator. Mrs. Ruth is currently an instructor at Huron Valley Lutheran High School in Westland, MI.

Please keep Mr. Nolte, Pastor Kurbis, Mr. Lepke, and Mrs. Ruth in your prayers as they deliberate where to use their gifts to serve the Lord.

Welcome to the KML Family!

Join us in welcoming Mrs. Courtney Odell to the KML family as one of our Learning Center Assistants!

Although the Odell family moved to Wisconsin from Louisiana this past summer, Mrs. Odell’s husband, Daniel, is a KML alum (’97). The Odells have been blessed with two sons: Logan, a freshman at KML, and Caleb, a 5th grader at Trinity, West Bend (Pleasant Valley).

In her free time, Mrs. Odell loves to build furniture, crochet, paint, run, and read. As a family, the Odells enjoy camping, saltwater fishing, hiking, and cooking.

Welcome (back) to KML, Odells!
