Call News

Mr. Mark Nolte has declined the call to serve as the 6th grade homeroom teacher and to teach 4-8th grade math at Good Shepherd Lutheran Academy in Deltona, FL, and will continue teaching math classes and coaching soccer at KML.

At the KML General Board meeting on Monday, February 14, the board issued the following calls to fill the upcoming vacancies left by Pastor Malchow, Mrs. Bruckschen, and Mrs. Chojnacki:

  • Pastor Caleb Kurbis has been called to teach Word of God 11 and coach soccer. Pastor Kurbis currently serves at Living Savior Lutheran Church in Asheville, NC.
  • Mr. Joshua Lepke was called to teach science and math and coach. Mr. Lepke is currently teaching at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Muskego, WI.
  • Mrs. Kris Ruth received the call to teach English and serve as the Jr. Charger Coordinator. Mrs. Ruth is currently an instructor at Huron Valley Lutheran High School in Westland, MI.

 


 

Charger Club Plant Sale

The KML Charger Club is currently offering $20 gift certificates to Groth’s Country Gardens for purchase through the KML SCRIP Office. (These certificates are a fundraiser for the Charger Club and DO NOT offer a rebate toward your SCRIP tuition account.) Gift certificates expire June 30, 2022.

The KML SCRIP Office is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM.

KML to Host WSMA Solo/Ensemble Festival

Students from area schools will participate in a Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) sanctioned District Solo & Ensemble Music Festival hosted at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School on Saturday, March 5, 2022. During the festival, students will perform vocal and instrumental solos, duets, trios, and small ensembles before an adjudicator. Spectators are welcome at this event!

WSMA music festivals annually attract thousands of students from middle, junior high, and high schools throughout Wisconsin. The festival will draw students from a number of area schools including Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, Kewaskum High School, Living Word Lutheran High School, Plymouth High School, Riverview Middle School and Waupun Senior High School. Mr. Jonathan Pasbrig, music director at KML, will be serving as the festival manager.

Registration is NOW OPEN for KML’s 2022 Gala, The Roaring ’20s!

We invite you to join us for an incredible evening on Saturday, April 23, 2022, as the KML gym is transformed into a speakeasy from the 1920s. This gala has it all … silent auction, live auction, fellowship, seated dinner, murder mystery, games … all kinds of fun to raise money to benefit the KML ministry.

Proceeds go toward the purchase of a special acoustical shell in the PAC auditorium as well as to the student assistance fund.
