Call News

Mr. Matt Linton has received a call to serve as the junior high homeroom teacher at Abiding Word Lutheran School in Houston, TX. He currently teaches social studies classes at KML.

Mr. Matt Rydecki has declined the call he received to teach 7th grade, serve as the assistant principal, and carry out technology duties at St. Paul Lutheran School in Lake Mills, WI, and will continue to teach Word of God at KML.

At its meeting on February 13, the KML General Board extended a call to Mr. Jarrod Pfarr to teach English and work with the theatre/drama department. This is an additional teaching position due to KML’s growing enrollment. Mr. Pfarr currently serves as the assistant principal at St. Peter Lutheran School in Appleton, WI.

The KML Board of Directors issued two part-time calls for the 2023-2024 school year at its meeting on February 27. Mr. Ryan Gurgel and Mr. Joshua Schroeder were each called to teach two sections of Word of God due to growing enrollment. Mr. Gurgel and Mr. Schroeder are both enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary and are currently vicaring in WELS churches.

Let’s Grow Together Campaign Update

Our generous, loving God continues to bless KML “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20, NIV) as we grow together. Although this is a two-year campaign, decisions will soon be made to determine the scope of the project based on gifts and pledges along with debt tolerance. Growth is a blessing, and we need to continue to expand our facility to meet all these needs. The bold response to God’s blessings has been amazing!

$3.25M as of February 23, 2023

THANK YOU!

Goal: $10M by June 30, 2024

Pray for our Let’s Grow Together campaign and share the news of KML’s growth and need for a facility expansion so that we can meet the needs of our current students better and serve more students today and in the future. If you haven’t given a gift or pledge, please prayerfully consider being a part of this important ministry with us to meet our goal of $10M.

For more information, visit kmlhs.org/grow or contact either President Jamie Luehring (jamie.luehring@kmlhs.org) or Director of Mission Advancement Wendy Breimon (wendy.breimon@kmlhs.org).

The time is now. Let’s Grow Together!

Travel to Europe in 2025

KML is offering an international education experience in Switzerland, Italy, and France in the summer of 2025. While our hope is to have the majority of the travelers be students, this trip is available to anyone connected to KML.

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 22, at 3:00 PM AND 6:00 PM at KML in room 1176. The itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, affordable payment options, and the official opening of enrollment will be discussed at this meeting.

RSVP to attend the meeting and view the trip’s itinerary at kmlhs.org/europe25.
