![]() March 15, 2023 Call News
Mr. Jarrod Pfarr has declined the call to teach English and work with the theatre/drama department at KML. At its meeting on March 13, the KML General Board extended this call to Mrs. Rebecca Jahns. Mrs. Jahns currently teaches at Illinois Lutheran High School in Crete, IL. Mr. Ryan Gurgel and Mr. Joshua Schroeder have both accepted the part-time calls issued to them for the 2023-2024 school year to teach two sections of Word of God each due to KML’s growing enrollment. Mr. Gurgel and Mr. Schroeder are both enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary and are currently vicaring in WELS churches. Join us in thanking God for the positions at KML he has filled, pray for KML and our many sister schools and churches who have openings to be filled, and ask the Lord to grant wisdom to Mr. Rabbers, Mrs. Jahns, and all those deliberating where to use their gifts to best serve in the public ministry.
Travel to Europe in 2025 KML is offering an international education experience in Switzerland, Italy, and France in the summer of 2025. The trip will be available to KML students, class of 2023-2028, and their parents. There are a limited number of spots, so our first priority will go to students over parents. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 22, at 3:00 PM AND 6:00 PM at KML in room 1176. The itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, affordable payment options, and the official opening of enrollment will be discussed at this meeting. RSVP to attend the meeting and view the trip’s itinerary at kmlhs.org/europe25. Questions? Contact Miss Emily Chandonnet (emily.chandonnet@kmlhs.org).
