Faculty & Staff News

Mr. Matt Moeller continues to deliberate the call he received to serve as the senior administrator and high school and junior high school principal at Illinois Lutheran Schools in Crete, IL.

Mr. Dylan Rusch joins KML’s Mission Advancement Office as the Gift Planning Officer, filling the position open upon Mr. Paul Snamiska’s retirement. Dylan is a second generation Charger and a 2011 graduate of KML. He is married to Megan, and they have two future Chargers: Ella (3) and Landon (1). Dylan’s previous work experience includes working for the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Tool. Dylan is excited to continue to grow the KML Foundation by engaging alumni and helping with their estate and deferred gift planning. The Rusch family currently lives in Port Washington, are members at David’s Star in Jackson, and are excited to be more involved in the KML community once again!

Host an International Student in 2024-2025

KML is seeking families to host international students for the 2024-2025 school year. The number of host families that we have available determines the number of international student applications we will be able to accept. Host families receive a stipend of $800/month to provide housing, meals, and transportation from early to mid-August through the end of May.

KML’s international students are required to have a high level of English fluency, but may not be used to speaking English all the time. Many of them also experience American culture for the first time when they come to KML, and our foods and customs take time to get used to. Host families need to be patient, understanding, and open-minded about the addition of an international student to their family.

Applications for hosting for the 2024-2025 school year need to be submitted by April 25, 2024. If you are interested in serving as a host family, please visit kmlhs.org/hostfamily for more information.
