About KML

Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School (KML) was established in 1974. It is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod which has more than 150 years of excellence in elementary, high school, and college education. KML part of a school system that is the fourth largest private school system in the United States of America. It is state accredited by the Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Association (WRISA), and it is nationally accredited through the National Council for Private School Education (NCPSA). KML also has a permit from the United States Department of Education and the Department of Homeland Security to accept international students.
KML follows the “whole person” educational tradition, equipping students with knowledge, growth, and experiences in a broad spectrum of subject areas of the liberal arts, including science, mathematics, and English. We prepare students for further education in a university setting, and we encourage them to pursue educational excellence, personal growth, and responsibility.
There are currently just over 500 students enrolled at KML, and we are accepting applications for international students to come study in grades 9-12.
Curriculum & Activities
Our curriculum is coordinated to prepare students for immediate entry into university programs, emphasizing English, mathematics, science, American culture and religion, history and social studies, the fine arts, foreign languages, and physical education. We offer four levels of Latin, German, and Spanish. Advanced students may also enroll in Advanced Placement courses to obtain university credit while in high school.
After classes, there is a wide variety of activities on the campus for students to participate in such as athletics, drama, speech, math teams, musicals, choir, band and piano. The campus and the building are well equipped, including having two full size gymnasiums.

Staff
46 professors, 7 study supervisors, and 32 support staff members work hard together on the campus to make lasting impressions on all the students.
