From the President’s Pen
Dear KML Family,
KML is blessed with a diversely-gifted family of students. We daily strive to encourage and equip them for their future on this earth as well as their future with Jesus for eternity. What a privilege it is to help our students reflect on those gifts and ask the question, “How can I use my strengths for the good of others?” In a world which perpetually tells us everything is about us, we reinforce their primary purpose – to make their God known and to serve others. Thank you for believing in and sacrificing for the Christian education our future leaders get to be a part of each day at KML!
Turnabout Dance – January 22
The KML Student Council will sponsor our Turnabout Dance on Saturday, January 22, from 8:00 – 11:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 per person and will be sold during lunch periods Monday through Friday, January 17 – 21. You may pick up guest registration forms when purchasing tickets, in the Main Office, or print one from here if you plan to bring a guest from another school.
This is a formal dance. Please be sure to review our dress code in the Student Handbook prior to shopping for a dress for this event. Watch your email for additional information to be shared with students and parents in the week ahead.
Tuition Assistance – Application Deadline is April 15
The Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Federation recognizes that the cost of Christian secondary education has the potential of being a challenge for some families. Accordingly, the Federation has established the KML Tuition Assistance Program. The program is designed to help families meet the cost of this great blessing. The monies come from many donors and foundations, including the KML Foundation. Applicants can apply online by going to www.kmlhs.org/TuitionAssistance. The deadline to apply is April 15, and the Finance Committee will determine the assistance mid May. Feel free to contact Mr. Jody Hansen, Director of Operations, (262.677.4051 x4004; email@example.com) if you have any questions.

Lannon Stone Foundation Scholarship
Lannon Stone Foundation announced it will once again sponsor a scholarship which will pay one half of the KML tuition for a member of KML’s class of 2023. Applicants cannot be participants in the school choice program. The student should be planning to pursue a career in engineering or science. A successful applicant will be a member of the class of 2023, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, and plan to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university beginning in the fall of 2023. Applicants for the scholarship should submit a professional cover letter and essay as if they were applying for a job or to a university. The cover letter must demonstrate they meet the criteria. The one page essay should describe their interest in their chosen field of study. Student questions can be directed to Mr. Jason Walz or Mrs. Wendy Breimon.
Submissions should be emailed to Mrs. Wendy Breimon in KML’s Mission Advancement Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than Monday, January 17. Mrs. Breimon will forward the applications to Lannon Stone. Officials from the company will interview the top three candidates and make the award determination.
