From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

We are so thankful for the victory Christ won for us through his perfect life, innocent death, and resurrection. The reality for us and our teenage students is we oftentimes feel like we are losing battles in this world. Struggles, pain, and conflict can push us to the point of despair. When those moments hit, we have the wonderful opportunity to look to the cross where we see and feel Jesus’ love for us. He also blesses us with Christian brothers and sisters to encourage us along the way. God be with you and your family as you work through the challenges of this world, fully knowing God has already secured our place in heaven.

Blessings,

President Luehring

Parent Volunteers for the Winter Season

All parents who have a child participating in a winter sport have been assigned to help out during the season, either taking admissions or working in the concession stand. A schedule was distributed at the start of the season and is posted at kmlchargers.com/athletic-volunteer-schedule. Please note your assignment. If a conflict arises, please switch with another family and contact the KML Activities Office (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) with the change. A reminder EMAIL will be sent one week prior to your scheduled date. For dates that you volunteer, please identify yourself to the admission takers to gain complimentary admission.

Practice Calendars

Athletic event schedules are available at kmlchargers.com/athletic-schedule. Specific sport CALENDARS are also posted on EACH SPORT home page under the MORE tab. Please consult the schedules in advance to avoid conflicts. Some changes in printed schedules do occur. The online calendar (kmlhs.org/calendar) will have the most current schedule.

Tuition Assistance – DEADLINE APRIL 15

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Federation recognizes that the cost of Christian secondary education has the potential of being a challenge for some families. Accordingly, the Federation has established the KML Tuition Assistance Program. The program is designed to help families meet the cost of this great blessing. The monies come from many donors and foundations, including the KML Foundation. Applicants can apply online by going to kmlhs.org/TuitionAssistance. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2024, and the Finance Committee will determine the assistance mid May. Feel free to contact Mr. Jody Hansen, Director of Operations (262.677.4051 x4004; jody.hansen@kmlhs.org), if you have any questions.
