From the Principal’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

We pray you have enjoyed time with family and friends during this extended break. Holidays are always a reminder of the family and relationships with which God blesses us during our journey on this earth. We are excited to reunite as a KML family today and begin another semester together. May Christ’s love for us work through us as we reflect his saving grace!

In Jesus,

Principal Luehring

Lannon Stone Foundation Scholarship

Lannon Stone Foundation announced it will once again sponsor a scholarship to pay one half of the KML tuition for a member of KML’s class of 2021. The student should be planning to pursue a career in engineering or science. A successful applicant will be a member of the class of 2021, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, and plan to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university beginning in the fall of 2021.

Applicants for the scholarship should submit a professional cover letter and essay as if they were applying for a job or to a university. The cover letter should demonstrate that they meet the criteria. The one page essay should describe their interest in the chosen field of study.

Student questions can be directed to Mr. Jason Walz (jason.walz@kmlhs.org) or Mrs. Wendy Breimon (wendy.breimon@kmlhs.org). Submissions should be emailed to Mrs. Wendy Breimon in KML’s Mission Advancement Office no later than Wednesday, January 15. Mrs. Breimon will forward the applications to Lannon Stone. Officials from the company will interview the top three candidates and make the award determination.
