From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

At times God provides us with simple visual reminders of his love and grace. All we have to do is look outside on a cold Wisconsin winter day. God tells us in Isaiah 1:18, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (NIV) Though winter weather isn’t always everyone’s favorite, it can remind us of the forgiveness we have in Christ. This is the same forgiveness we can freely offer others as we strive to live lives of service to God and bring him glory. It’s truly amazing to be part of a school where we all stand on that common ground.

God Bless!

President Luehring

Early Dismissal, Friday, January 28

On Friday, January 28, KML will dismiss students at 1:17 PM. The varsity girls basketball team will be playing their game against Menomonee Falls at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee at 2:25 PM. The early release will allow enough time for our students, faculty, etc. to attend the game if they desire to do so.

Bus Information:

  • Riteway – Germantown will have two buses at KML these days, one for in town and one for out of town.
  • Riteway – West Bend will drop students off at Good Shepherd only. The shuttle bus will not arrive at Good Shepherd until 3:00 PM if students want to wait for that bus to take them home.
    • We strongly recommend finding an alternative pick up for these days, either from KML or from Good Shepherd.

Other Details:

  • Lunch will be served on this day.
  • The Main Office and SCRIP OFFICE will close at 2:00 PM.
  • The girls basketball game is FREE for all to attend – no sign-up, no tickets … just show up!
  • KML will provide two buses to transport interested students to the game and back. Students have received directions via email on how to sign up for this.
    • Any students wishing to drive themselves to the game should have parental permission to do so.
  • In conjunction with our high school game, there will also be Bucks tickets that are available for purchase, for KML families only. Watch for more information and a link on social media!

Please reach out to the Main Office (office@kmlhs.org) if you have any questions.
