![]() January 23, 2020 From the Principal’s Pen Dear KML Family, Sometimes God provides us with simple visual reminders of his love and grace. All we have to do is look outside. God tells us in Isaiah 1:18, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (NIV) Though winter weather can bring pain and struggle, it can also remind us of the forgiveness we have in Christ, the same forgiveness we can freely offer others as we live like Christ. It’s pretty amazing to be part of a school where we all stand on that common ground. God Bless! Principal Luehring
MLC Trip Each year, KML partners with Martin Luther College (MLC) in New Ulm, MN, to give our students an opportunity to experience what a normal day is like in the life of a college student preparing for full-time ministry in the WELS. For many years, KML has been encouraging students to consider the full-time ministry as pastors, teachers, and staff ministers. This is a great opportunity for KML students to see life at MLC firsthand and receive personal encouragements to continue thinking about becoming a pastor, teacher, or staff minister. If you have a student who has the gifts to serve in full-time ministry, please encourage them to participate in the second trip to MLC on February 5-6. These are weekdays, which means we will leave from KML after chapel on Wednesday, February 5, and return to campus around 10:00 PM on Thursday, February 6. We will also be partnering with Shoreland Lutheran High School to travel on a coach bus. It is a quick trip, but students will attend college classes, visit KML alumni, and meet new friends! Please contact Pastor Ben Reichel (ben.reichel@kmlhs.org) with any questions you might have.
