![]() January 30, 2020 From the Principal’s Pen Dear KML Family, Flu season has hit especially hard this year, and many of our students are struggling with various illnesses. Our prayers are with all who are affected, and we trust that most will be back to full strength soon. It’s weeks like these when the hope of heaven with no more pain, struggle, or sickness sounds pretty amazing! I can’t even imagine what that will be like! God’s blessings to your family as you navigate through this season. In Jesus, Principal Luehring
MLC Trip Each year, KML partners with Martin Luther College (MLC) in New Ulm, MN, to give our students an opportunity to experience what a normal day is like in the life of a college student preparing for full-time ministry in the WELS. For many years, KML has been encouraging students to consider the full-time ministry as pastors, teachers, and staff ministers. This is a great opportunity for KML students to see life at MLC firsthand and receive personal encouragements to continue thinking about becoming a pastor, teacher, or staff minister. If you have a student who has the gifts to serve in full-time ministry, please encourage them to participate in the second trip to MLC on February 5-6. These are weekdays, which means we will leave from KML after chapel on Wednesday, February 5, and return to campus around 10:00 PM on Thursday, February 6. We will also be partnering with Shoreland Lutheran High School to travel on a coach bus. It is a quick trip, but students will attend college classes, visit KML alumni, and meet new friends! Please contact Pastor Ben Reichel (ben.reichel@kmlhs.org) with any questions you might have.
