Turnabout Dance Our Turnabout Dance will be held Saturday, January 25, from 8:00 – 11:00 PM. Student permission forms were sent via email to all students and are required only if your student did not attend the homecoming dance or if they are bringing a guest from another school. The deadline for guest forms is Wednesday, January 22. Turnabout tickets will be on sale during lunch periods the week of January 20 – 24. Ticket price is $5 per student and $5 for a guest. This is a formal/semi formal event. Please review our formal dress code in the student handbook. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Hughes (randy.hughes@kmlhs.org).
Lannon Stone Foundation Scholarship Lannon Stone Foundation announced it will once again sponsor a scholarship to pay one half of the KML tuition for a member of KML’s class of 2021. The student should be planning to pursue a career in engineering or science. A successful applicant will be a member of the class of 2021, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, and plan to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university beginning in the fall of 2021. Applicants for the scholarship should submit a professional cover letter and essay as if they were applying for a job or to a university. The cover letter should demonstrate that they meet the criteria. The one page essay should describe their interest in the chosen field of study. Student questions can be directed to Mr. Jason Walz (jason.walz@kmlhs.org) or Mrs. Wendy Breimon (wendy.breimon@kmlhs.org). Submissions should be emailed to Mrs. Wendy Breimon in KML’s Mission Advancement Office no later than Wednesday, January 15. Mrs. Breimon will forward the applications to Lannon Stone. Officials from the company will interview the top three candidates and make the award determination.
Tuition Assistance Deadline is April 15 The Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Federation recognizes the cost of Christian secondary education has the potential of being a challenge for some families. Accordingly, the Federation has established the KML Tuition Assistance Program. The program is designed to help families meet the cost of this great blessing. The money for this program comes from many donors and foundations, including the KML Foundation. Applicants can apply online. The deadline to apply is April 15. The Finance Committee will determine the assistance disbursement mid May. Feel free to contact Mr. Jody Hansen, KML Business Manager (262-677-4051 x1109; jody.hansen@kmlhs.org) with questions.

Get the Newspaper & Support KML at the Same Time! Are you ready to get some high school sports coverage AND help out your school, at the same time?!? The Daily News is offering a program for new customers (not a subscriber in 60 days) that will donate money to the KML Charger Club with each newspaper subscription. For example, a 12 week subscription costs $40 and $20 will be donated to the Charger Club! The e-version of the newspaper is included with the purchase of a subscription. Charger Club – Scoops & Suds Mark you calendars for the Charger Club Scoops & Suds Nights. Root beer floats ($1) and ice cream sundaes ($2) will be available at the KML Schools Basketball Nights on January 16 (Boys) and February 6 (Girls). Please join us for some food and fellowship at the games!
