From the Principal’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

There is no lack of excitement in the halls of KML this week as we see the personalities and fun-loving nature of our students come out for homecoming week. It is a true blessing for our Christian community. As a staff, we are thankful for the positive ways our students go about the festivities and dress-up days, reflecting their faith and values. With the weekend dance approaching, please encourage your student to have a great time, but also to make good choices and give glory to God. Go, Chargers!

God Bless,

Principal Luehring

COVID-19 Update

As we navigate through this pandemic together, we will continue to communicate with families who have had a child who is in the same classes, extra-curricular activities, and whose locker is within 6 feet of another student who tests positive for COVID-19. We will update this report on a weekly basis to give parents the larger picture of how many cases have occurred in our student body. In order to switch to virtual, parents must notify the Main Office (262-677-4051; office@kmlhs.org).

  • Total Cases (August 15 – September 2): 5
  • Total Cases (September 3 – September 30): 2
  • # of Cases Returned (Completed 10 Day Quarantine + Symptom Free for 24 Hours): 6
  • # of Cases on Quarantine (Within the 10 Day Quarantine + Symptom Free for 24 Hours): 1

KML Culver’s Day in Jackson

Wednesday, October 7, is KML Culver’s Day at Culver’s in Jackson. Student names will be drawn from the class with the highest sales! Winners will receive either a value meal basket, a 2-scoop sundae, or a concrete mixer. Congratulations to our September winners: Ella Snamiska, Gretchen Beaty, and Stephen Klemp. All of this is in addition to 10% of all KML sales going toward the capital/debt reduction fund. Bring your family and friends to Culver’s on Wednesday, October 2! Be sure to bring a coupon so you can record the class and student you would like to win. If you forget to pick up a coupon at the KML Main Office or print one from our website, ask for one at Culver’s. Thank you for supporting your high school.
