From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

October is filled with a flurry of activity at KML … concerts, sporting events, theatre productions, and many other events which keep our students extremely busy. Though a bit of fatigue begins to set in, it is truly a blessing to see the gifts and talents of our students expressed in so many different ways. May God give them strength and endurance in the weeks ahead until they reach their extended weekend off at the end of the month.

In Jesus,

President Luehring

Mission to the Children

Please join us in our Mission to the Children (a WELS organization that takes the Christmas message of Jesus, gifts of Bibles, soccer balls, socks, and blankets to children in Mexico).

  • Do you like to make fleece tie blankets?
  • Can you donate any pairs of socks for children of all ages?
  • Can you find a great new soccer ball for some little kiddos in Mexico?
  • Can you spare some cash to help purchase Bibles and/or cover shipping costs?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, please contact Señora Barb Olsen today! (barbara.olsen@kmlhs.org) Donations are needed by Wednesday, October 25.

We all have loved ones that have been affected by this disease. May God give strength and comfort to those who continue the fight. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
