From the President’s Pen
Dear KML Family,
October is filled with a flurry of activity at KML … concerts, sporting events, theatre productions, and many other events which keep our students extremely busy. Though a bit of fatigue begins to set in, it is truly a blessing to see the gifts and talents of our students expressed in so many different ways. May God give them strength and endurance in the weeks ahead until they reach their extended weekend off at the end of the month.
Mission to the Children
Please join us in our Mission to the Children (a WELS organization that takes the Christmas message of Jesus, gifts of Bibles, soccer balls, socks, and blankets to children in Mexico).
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, please contact Señora Barb Olsen today! (email@example.com) Donations are needed by Wednesday, October 25.
Fall Athletic Awards Nights
Each individual sports team will be holding an end of season awards night. Please contact the head coach for more details.
Chargers for the Cure
THANK YOU to everyone who supported our fall sports’ Chargers for the Cure PINK OUT t-shirt campaign!!! A total of 440 shirts were purchased to help support this cause! Shirts were distributed to student lockers/faculty mailboxes on September 29.
Show your support by wearing your PINK OUT shirts at the following KML home sporting events:
If you wish to make a direct donation, please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (firstname.lastname@example.org) by the end of October. All proceeds will be donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin’s breast cancer research department to support the pursuit of a cure! Thank you for supporting this campaign!
We all have loved ones that have been affected by this disease. May God give strength and comfort to those who continue the fight. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
