From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

Prayer is so important and powerful! We are reminded that God wants us to cast our anxieties on him, to wrestle with him, and to be in communication with him nonstop. Let’s go to our Lord in prayer today and ask him to strengthen our faith and trust in him and to believe that his love for us is unconditional. Our prayers also include our students. We pray they may continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus, see his love face to face, and live his way out of thanksgiving. May God strengthen and encourage you as you go to him!

In Jesus,

President Luehring

Host a Costa Rican Student in January

Do you want to broaden your horizons and share your culture with others? We are looking for short term host families! KML is hosting 13 Costa Rican high school students from January 17-31, 2024. The students are coming to Wisconsin to practice their English, learn about a different culture, and experience the joys of winter! Host families do not need to speak Spanish. Interested? More information is available on the exchange website: sites.google.com/costaricafrika.com/hosting-exchange/home. Please contact Mrs. Micah Nelson (micah.nelson@kmlhs.org) with any questions.

Sports Uniform Turn-In / Team Locker Clean Up

All uniforms are to be collected by the head coach within one week of the final event (or communicated deadline). Clean uniforms should be in a bag with the student-athlete’s name included. Late fees of $5 per week will be charged on a weekly basis following the week deadline. A $10 charge for dirty uniforms will also be assessed if a clean uniform is not submitted. Any missing uniforms will be charged a replacement fee. Also, all athletes should have their team locker cleaned out within one week following their last event. Fines will be charged for lockers that are not emptied and cleaned.
