![]() ![]() November 19, 2020 From the Principal’s Pen Dear KML Family, Thanksgiving is but a short week away – unbelievable! As the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins across our country, let us pause and thank God for his many blessings, the greatest of which is the salvation that is ours through Christ. We continue to thank God for our students and families who believe in the power of Christian education. May God continue to bless our work together! In Christ, Principal Luehring
Covid-19 Update As COVID-19 numbers increase in our community, we have also seen a slight increase at KML. We continue to be dedicated to face to face instruction for all members of our KML family who want that option. We also continue to offer the virtual learning option for those who may choose it. Over the last couple of weeks, many parents and students have asked if we plan to go fully virtual for any length of time. At this point, that is not in our plans. Though we have had a few faculty and staff with COVID-19-related absences, our staff who remain are dedicated to covering for one another as those time periods occur. Our available capacity to do this is much greater than we are currently utilizing. The KML leadership continues to monitor COVID-19 protocols and numbers on a daily basis. Overall, our students have been doing a wonderful job of following our safety protocols. Please continue to remind them to wear their masks, wash their hands often, and stay separate when at all possible. Thank you for your continued support!
IMMEDIATE Job Openings at KML KML has IMMEDIATE job openings for two part-time janitors:

Save the Date! Giving back isn’t cancelled! At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity brings people together. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value everyone can act on. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eight years, this idea has grown into an annual global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. On December 1, GivingTuesday, we pray you will join us along with some generous people who are so excited to support KML that they want to challenge you with a challenge grant. This means your gift will go twice as far to help us build a strong foundation in our students. Mark your calendars, spread the word, and stay tuned for more details!

KML Return to Play Plan – General Public Per our KML Return to Play Plan, our spectator capacities are limited for WINTER sports in keeping with WIAA, ECC, and Washington/Ozaukee County Health Department guidance. Winter athletes will be allocated an East Central Conference (ECC) Pass to meet our capacity guidelines. These passes are good for all KML HOME, regular season events and all AWAY conference events. ALL spectators MUST have this pass for admission into the event, no exceptions. NO admission fee will be charged for WINTER regular season home events or away conference events. At this time, unless you are issued a pass through an athlete or coach, you are unable to attend a KML athletic event. As capacity guidelines are updated, we will reassess and communicate these changes via our kmlchargers.com website or our KML social media sites. We will livestream our home games at our YouTube site – “KML Charger Athletics” (www.kmlhs.org/athletics-stream). These are for LIVE viewing only. Be sure to subscribe for easier viewing! For more information on our health and safety best practices as well as admission information, visit: https://kmlchargers.com/attendanceadmissions/. Questions? Contact Mrs. Amy Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org). Thank you for your understanding and support of KML athletics.
Team Pictures for Winter Sports Teams Team and Individual pictures will be taken on the dates listed below. Order forms for team and individual pictures will be sent home with all athletes. Purchasing pictures is optional, but all athletes need to be in the team yearbook photo. Complete uniforms should be brought to school on that day.
