Dear KML Family,

Our daily thanksgiving begins with the recognition of God’s grace in our lives. This acknowledgment is an amazing opportunity we have each and every day at KML. We assure our students God’s love always wins as he has the power to take away our sins. We know God continues to bless our earthly lives in immeasurable ways. God’s abundant blessings to you and your family as you reflect on all the Lord has given and continues to give.

Covid-19 Update

  • Total COVID-19 Cases (August 15 – September 2): 5

KML Office Closed

The KML Main Office will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 26 – 27, for the Thanksgiving break. Regular office hours of 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM will resume on Monday, November 30. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

 

KML Culver’s Day in Jackson

Wednesday, December 2, is KML Culver’s Day at Culver’s in Jackson. Student names will be drawn from the class with the highest sales! Winners will receive either a value meal basket, a 2-scoop sundae, or a concrete mixer. Congratulations to our November winners: Senate Schmidt, Nicholas Mills, Ian Bystrek, Bekah Zimmerman, Ellie Ericson and Andrew Justman.  All of this is in addition to 10% of all KML sales going toward the capital/debt reduction fund. You can place your order inside and via the drive thru on Wednesday, December 2!  Be sure to bring a coupon so you can record the class and student you would like to win. If you forget to pick up a coupon at the KML main office or print one from our website, ask for one at Culver’s. Thank you for supporting your high school.

 

Announcer Needed for Basketball Season

We are in need of an additional ANNOUNCER for our varsity home games. Tipoff is 7:15 PM. If you have a love for Charger basketball, get the best seat in our house by serving as our announcer!

SCRIP News

SCRIP Office Hours
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
8:00 AM – 3:00 PMCLOSED TUESDAYS

The SCRIP Office will be CLOSED Thursday & Friday, November 26 & 27, due to the Thanksgiving Break.

If you haven’t used SCRIP in the past, now is a GREAT time to get started and begin earning dollars toward your student’s tuition and other fees with every purchase. Stop in to the SCRIP Office or visit www.kmlhs.org/scrip to learn more!

If you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity, please consider the KML SCRIP Office! We are in need of volunteers who can serve for a few hours on a recurring monthly basis, or be available ocassionally as the need arises. Contact the SCRIP Coordinator, Mrs. Michelle Zak (scrip@kmlhs.org), for more information!

  • Stocking Stuffer Alert: $5 and $10 cards are now available from certain vendors – think Starbucks, Panera, Amazon, and more! These make great teacher gifts! Find details at ShopWithScrip.com. $5 Culver’s gift cards also available while supplies last.
  • November 9 – December 18 Bonus – Goeman’s Rapid Mart rebate increases to 12% (regularly 8%).
  • There are still a few $30 Papa Murphy’s Meal Deal cards available; offer is good through 12/31!
  • When you pick up your cards, be sure to peruse our Little Scrip Library and borrow a book to cozy up with.

A final reminder for large or special order items: please place your order in person by 1:00 PM Friday or online by midnight Sunday in order to have your cards available the following Wednesday.
