From the President’s Pen
Dear KML Family,
I still remember some of my earliest teachers reminding us to “let our light shine” as we headed out into the community or on a field trip. The message was simple. Our teachers wanted us to behave, but it was so much deeper than that. Our world can be dark and dreary because of the consequences of sin, and people need the light and encouragement that comes from knowing our loving God. There is no way in this world that any one person or group of people can be lights all the time, but I am thankful for our KML family’s efforts to be lights in our world. May God continue to bless us as we Live His Way and make God’s forgiveness, salvation, and eternity known through Jesus!
SCRIP Office Hours
The SCRIP Office will be closed on February 20 when there is no school.
If you’re not a current SCRIP user, now is a great time to become one! Start earning credit toward tuition and fees, or receive a cash rebate on your purchases. You are not required to have a student currently enrolled to benefit from SCRIP program. Stop in the SCRIP Office or visit kmlhs.org/scrip to learn more. We’d love to help you put this program to use!
2023 Trap Shooting Club
KML’s Trap Shooting Club (Scholastic Clays) will be in full action soon. It’s not too late for students to join the Daniel Boone Conservation League in Hubertus or the Hartford Gun Club!
Daniel Boone is keeping registration open through February 18. A new shooter’s class meets on February 11 from 9:00 AM to noon at the Hartford Gun Club.
For more information about the KML Trap Club, please contact KML Trap Club supervisor, Mr. Bill Strasser (firstname.lastname@example.org).

Travel to Europe in 2025
KML is offering an international education experience in Switzerland, Italy, and France in the summer of 2025. While our hope is to have the majority of the travelers be students, this trip is available to anyone connected to KML.
There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 22, at 3:00 PM AND 6:00 PM at KML in room 1176. The itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, affordable payment options, and the official opening of enrollment will be discussed at this meeting.
RSVP to attend the meeting and view the trip’s itinerary at kmlhs.org/europe25.
