From the Principal’s Pen
Dear KML Family,
One year ago today, virtual learning began at KML and ran through the end of the school year. This brings back so many memories of the past year as well as a renewed sense of thankfulness that we are all in school together today. Despite the challenges we have experienced over the last year, we can always see God’s love and grace for us in all circumstances. As we go through our last quarter of this school year, may God help us to remain focused on his saving work for us while we enjoy each day as a gift of his grace.
Student Covid-19 Update
Soles for Jesus Shoe Collection
Thank you to all who have donated shoes — the collection box was overflowing!
These shoes help needy people in Africa AND they help spread the Gospel message. If you find shoes your family members no longer need while doing your spring cleaning, please consider sending them to school with your KML student.
You can also help defray the cost of sending the shoes to Africa (approx. $2 per pair). Just go to the Soles for Jesus website.
If you would like to volunteer at a shoe sort at Soles for Jesus (located in the Brown Deer area), there are many opportunities for people of all ages to help. Please go to http://www.solesforjesus.org/take-action/volunteer/ for additional information.
SCRIP Office Hours
The SCRIP Office will be closed March 29 – April 5 over the break.
Make 2021 the year you begin earning dollars toward your student’s tuition and other fees with everyday purchases. Stop in the SCRIP Office or visit www.kmlhs.org/scrip to learn more!
A reminder for large or special order items: please place your order in person by 1:00 PM Friday or online by midnight Sunday in order to have your cards available the following Wednesday.
Required Forms for Spring Sport Participation
Students who plan to try out for a SPRING sport and were NOT involved in a fall or winter sport, must have the necessary athletic forms on file (WIAA green Physical Card or WIAA orange Alternate Year Card, the KMLHS blue Compliance Form, the yellow Parent/Athlete Concussion Agreement Form, white Trainer Authorization Form). Forms can be obtained from the Activities Office, or are posted at http://kmlchargers.com/athletic-paperwork/.
Athletes will not be allowed to try out if their forms are incomplete.
Please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (262-677-4051 x4008; email@example.com) for verification or with questions. Athletes who participated in a FALL or WINTER SPORT will already have the necessary paperwork submitted.
Spring Practice Calendars
Athletic event schedules are available at http://kmlchargers.com/athletic-schedule/. Specific sport game schedules are posted under the sport’s SCHEDULE tab. Practice calendars are posted under the MORE tab (on each sport’s home page). Please consult the schedules in advance to avoid conflicts. Some changes in printed schedules do occur. ADJUSTMENTS FOR PRACTICES AND GAMES WILL NEED TO BE MADE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. The online calendar will have the most current schedule.

KML will be hosting various academic, fine arts, and sports camps this summer. Please pass the information on to friends and family who would be interested in attending.
