From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

Exams are nearly done! As we complete another school year, I want to express my thanks to our students, parents, faculty, staff, and federation for making KML what it is today. What a blessing to have a high school education firmly planted in God’s Word and his message of love and free forgiveness! I pray you have a very blessed summer!

A special congratulations and God’s blessings to our seniors and their families. We know God has great things in store for the future of these young men and women.

In Jesus,

President Luehring

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
CLOSED Memorial Day, May 29

  • Current bonus rebates (thru 5/26):  Kwik Trip (7%), Kwik Trip Grocery (13%), AutoZone (10%), Children’s Place/Gymboree (14%), H & M (9%), PetSmart (7%), Jersey Mike’s (10%)

Attention families of graduating seniors: You do not have to stop using SCRIP when your students leave KML. You can switch your rebate option and simply receive a check in the mail once a year for all the bonuses you’ve earned. Email the SCRIP Office (scrip@kmlhs.org) and we can help you make that change. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Stay informed about bonuses over the summer! Sign up for emails from RaiseRight so you know when bonus rebates are available during the summer when there is no KMaiL. If you don’t already receive them, this feature can be turned on by going to Account/Settings/Personal Information if you’re using a desktop, and Account/Settings/Notifications if using the app.

If you’re not a current SCRIP user, now is a great time to become one! Start earning credit toward tuition and fees, or receive a cash rebate on your purchases. Stop in the SCRIP Office or visit kmlhs.org/scrip to learn more. We’d love to help you put this program to use!

New Process for Work Permits

Effective immediately, work permits are available online through the Department of Workforce Development. As such, KML will no longer be issuing work permits. A parent can access the site and follow the instructions at dwd.wisconsin.gov/er/laborstandards/workpermit. Payment is made directly to the department through the application using a credit or debit card or by ACH direct withdrawal. Once the permit application process is complete, the DWD mails a paper copy of the permit directly to the employer.

Sports Uniform Turn-In

Uniforms will be collected by the head coach within one week of the final event (or communicated deadline). Clean uniforms should be in a bag with the athlete’s name included. Late fees of $5 per week will be charged on a weekly basis following the week deadline. A $10 charge for dirty uniforms will also be assessed if a clean uniform is not submitted. Missing uniforms will be charged a replacement fee. Athletes should also have their team locker cleaned out within one week following their last event. A $10 fee will be charged for lockers that are not emptied and cleaned.

Class of 2024 Seniors Borrowing Sports Uniforms

Seniors wishing to borrow sports uniforms for senior pictures must fill out a form (posted at kmlchargers.com/athletic-paperwork – scroll to the bottom of the page) and include a $15 deposit of which $10 will be returned when the uniform is returned. For BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, and SOFTBALL, please contact your coach directly to coordinate obtaining your uniform.
