From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

“I am the vine; you are the branches.” It’s a well known section of Scripture (John 15:5) which reminds us of the importance of staying connected to Jesus always! We are thankful to assist you as parents in this very important task for your children. I realize they are young adults and getting closer to the freedom of making their own decisions, but we are thankful to be partners with you who get to share the Good News of sins forgiven and heaven every day with them as well. We pray that God would continue to keep all of our KML family strongly connected to him. That helps us today as we bear much fruit on our earthly walk and grants us an eternity of absolute perfection. God bless you as you raise your children in him!

In Jesus,

President Luehring

  • Wednesday, May 25: Periods 5, 4, 3 (7:40 AM – 12:05 PM)
  • Thursday, May 26: Periods 2, 1 (7:40 AM – 10:40 AM)

All students are expected to arrive at school at the regular time each day. Students who have study hall/commons for the first period of each day (periods 8, 5, 2) are NOT allowed to miss those periods.

Those who have study hall/commons for the last period of each day (periods 6, 3, 1) are allowed to leave early as long as they turn in a permission note from their parents the day before. Students will NOT be allowed to call home on the day of their study hall/commons to request last minute permission. Students who are excused from the last period study hall/commons are required to leave campus and are not allowed to return until after school is dismissed.

All classes, with the exception of study hall/commons, will have a test or a meaningful learning experience planned for that period.

Due to the shortened school day, there will be no hot lunch or cafeteria service on any of the exam days.
