From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

As we close one year and begin working diligently on the next, we reflect on the blessing of providing a Christian education firmly grounded in Christ’s work for us. We pray you have an enjoyable summer and that our students refresh, relax, and prepare for another great year under God’s blessings.

To our graduates – we pray you cling to the knowledge that God will continue to hold you tightly as you move toward new endeavors. We are thankful for the blessing of working together these past years.

God Bless,

President Luehring

  • Current bonus rebates: Burlington (11%), DSW (11%), Hotels.com (8%), Regal (12%), Shutterfly (12%), Spa & Wellness (20%)
  • Upcoming bonus rebates (starting 6/3): Ace (6%), Arby’s (12%), Athleta/Gap/Old Navy (18%). Buffalo Wild Wings (13%), Cabela’s (13%), Domino’s (10%), Home Chef (9.5%), Lowe’s (7%), Subway (7.5%), Under Armor (16%)

Attention families of graduation seniors! You do not have to stop using SCRIP when your students leave KML. You can switch your rebate option and simply receive a check in the mail once a year for all the bonuses you’ve earned. Email the SCRIP Office (scrip@kmlhs.org) and we can help you make that change. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Stay informed about bonuses over the summer! Sign up for emails from RaiseRight so you know when bonus rebates are available during the summer when there is no KMaiL. If you don’t already receive them, this feature can be turned on by going to Account/Settings/Personal Information if you’re using a desktop, and Account/Settings/Notifications if using the app.

If you’re not a current SCRIP user, now is a great time to become one! Start earning credit toward tuition and fees, or receive a cash rebate on your purchases. You can benefit from the SCRIP program even if you do not have a student currently enrolled. Stop in the SCRIP Office or visit kmlhs.org/scrip to learn more. We’d love to help you put this program to use!

New Process for Work Permits

Effective immediately, work permits are available online through the Department of Workforce Development. As such, KML will no longer be issuing work permits. A parent can access the site and follow the instructions at dwd.wisconsin.gov/er/laborstandards/workpermit. Payment is made directly to the department through the application using a credit or debit card or by ACH direct withdrawal. Once the permit application process is complete, the DWD mails a paper copy of the permit directly to the employer.
