We pray you have an enjoyable summer and that our students refresh, relax, and prepare for another great year under God’s blessings. To our graduates – we pray you cling to the knowledge that God will continue to hold you tightly as you move toward new endeavors. Final KMaiL of the School Year This is the final KMaiL of the 2021-2022 school year. If you have a student attending KML next year, the first KMaiL for the 2022-2023 school year will arrive in your email on Thursday, August 4, 2022. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer.
Summer Office Hours Beginning May 31 and running through August 17, the KML Main Office hours will be Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 1 PM with a few exceptions. The exceptions are on June 7-9 & June 13-16 when the office will be open from 11 AM – 3PM. The office will be closed on July 4/5, July 14, and Aug 10/11. Summer office hours are subject to occasional change. Please call with any questions. Regular office hours of 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM will resume August 18 when the 2022-2023 school year begins.
SCRIP News SCRIP Office SUMMER Hours Current bonus rebates:

Feel free to call or email with any questions! (scrip@kmlhs.org) If you’re not a current SCRIP user, now is a great time to become one! Start earning credit toward your student’s tuition and fees, or receive a cash rebate on your purchases. Stop in the office or visit www.kmlhs.org/scrip to learn more. We’d love to help you put this program to use!
Sports Uniform Turn-In Sports uniforms will be collected by the head coach within one week of the final event (or communicated deadline). Clean uniforms should be in a bag with the athlete’s name included. Late fees of $5 per week will be charged on a weekly basis following the week deadline. A $10 charge for dirty uniforms will also be assessed if a clean uniform is not submitted. Missing uniforms will be charged a replacement fee. Athletes should also have their team locker cleaned out within one week following their last event. A $10 fee will be charged for lockers which are not emptied and cleaned.

Advertising Your Business Opportunities are available for your businesses (or individuals/families) to advertise in our high school and grade school athletic programs. Please contact the Activities Office for more information. Information is also posted at https://kmlchargers.com/athletic-advertising/.
Required Forms for Sport Participation in 2022-2023 Students planning to participate in KML athletics must have the necessary athletic forms on file. Athletes will NOT be allowed to participate in a fall sport without the required paperwork.
All forms are posted at https://kmlchargers.com/athletic-paperwork/, are available in the rack in the Main Office, or can be picked up from the Activities Office. Please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) with questions you may have about required paperwork or what your child has submitted or is missing. All forms must be on file no later than August 1, 2022, or prior to the first practice. Forms may be mailed or dropped off in the Main Office. Athletes will NOT be allowed to try out or practice without the proper paperwork on file.

Mandatory New Student Parent/Athlete Meeting NEW students (freshmen and transfer students) who plan to participate in a sport during the 2022-2023 school year are required to attend an informational parent/athlete meeting. The date of the in-person meeting is Wednesday, August 3, at 7:00 PM and will be held in the PAC auditorium. The meeting will also be livestreamed and recorded for those who are unable to attend the meeting in person. More information and the live link will be made available at kmlchargers.com at a later date.
Sports Uniforms for Class of 2023 Senior Pictures Seniors wishing to borrow sports uniforms for senior pictures need to fill out a form (posted at http://kmlchargers.com/athletic-paperwork/ – scroll to the bottom of the page) and include a $15 deposit, of which $10 will be returned when the uniform is returned. Please contact the coach directly to obtain uniforms for BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL and SOFTBALL. All other sports should email the requet to the Activities Office (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) NO LESS THAN TWO WEEKS prior to when the uniform is needed. If you have any questions, please email the Activities Office.
Class of 2022 Graduation Pictures Graduation pictures are available for viewing by going to kmlhs.org/graduation. The pictures are in random order so be sure to look through them all as your graduate may be in more than one photo.
